We caught the 171 bus at Schoenefeld Airport and got off at Zadekstrasse very near the hotel.
If you book this hotel, you should be aware that you are a long way from the centre of Berlin. Frankly we got a very good deal and decided it was worth paying for a daily unlimited travel pass whilst we were here. At 7 euros each it was a good idea.
We arrived too early for check-in, but received a nice welcome. There is chilled water and complimentary fruit in reception. There's also a nice terrace at the back where you can sit in the sun.
Our room was huge. It was just like the one on the hotel adverts (and that almost NEVER happens!) We had a bath and a balcony. There was a fridge just outside our room. It was all very comfortable. The weather was absolutely roasting, so we spent more time in our room than usual.
The hotel is situated on a busy main road. There are a few bars and restaurants within a moderate walking distance. There's also a Penny supermarket reasonably near and an Aldi just about to open even closer.
The hotel itself was great. No complaints at all.
