We only stayed at this hotel for one night and that was purely due to its proximity to the airport, our flight’s scheduled arrival time and the fact the rooms were cheap at the time of booking. However I would have been more than happy to have spent my entire stay here! The hotel was beautifully constructed in an authentic Mediterranean theme and felt very warm and cosy. Our room was tastefully decorated and in immaculate condition. Although we did not dine at this hotel or make use of the leisure facilities our sneaky peaks confirmed they were up the standard of the rest of hotel. The selection of information for tourists was perfectly ample and in fact it here we discovered the excellent walking tours of Berlin (newberlintours.com). The hotel’s location is excellent for airport access but sadly a 30-40 minute train ride to the city centre. My only complaint of the Albergo is the noise from the S-Bahn which runs all throughout the night.
Overall a very comfortable hotel but too pricey, at full rate at least, given its awkward location and availability of other hotels in the city centre.More
