Five-star corporate hotels are not usually our preferred choice of accommodation, but we got a great deal for our three nights stay from the hotel's web site (50% discount, pay in advance) that we would have been silly not to select this hotel for our stay in Berlin.
The hotel looks new and is situated on Budapester Str. close to the Zoological Gardens and the major shopping district (KaDeWe department store and others), supermarkets, restaurants and cafes.
Our room was on the seventh floor overlooking the courtyard and was very modern, plenty of room and with all the facilities expected of this class of hotel. A nice bathroom with a bath and shower over bath (take care getting into the shower though) and spotlessly clean. A separate check was made by hotel staff daily to ensure the room was cleaned properly.
Expensive mini bar (of course) and tea/coffee making facilities also in the room (a nice surprise) and two bottles of water were provided free of charge.
Free WiFi or internet connection was available in the room, but not for free. Actually, the cost was quite expensive, which is disappointing and obviously catering to business people (with company paid expenses) rather than leisure travelers. There is a nice restaurant at the hotel, which was expensive compared to local restaurants.
A full buffet breakfast (eggs, crepes etc prepared on request) was included with our room rate and was excellent.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge's desk where you can purchase train tickets and also theater tickets if you are interested.
To get around Berlin, the No 200 bus goes down Budapester Str., or you can get the train from the nearest metro (U Bahn) which is Wittenbergplatzl or Zoologischer Garten, both about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Tip for sightseeing; take the No 100 Bus (outside of Zoologischer Garten station) for Euro 2.30 (tickets available from Hotel Concierge) as this bus travels the same routes as the sightseeing buses (but no audio available of course).
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at the Pullman.

Stayed here with a friend for 2 nights in August.

We thought the hotel was great and really enjoyed staying there. The location was perfect for us. It seemed to be in the middle of everything that we went to see.

The staff were friendly and but a bit slow to serve in the bar area. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The twin room we were allocated was large and well appointed.

The breakfast buffet is good but a bit expensive 24 euros. Good selection of fruit, cooked items, breakfast cereal, bread, cold meats and cheese.

The bar has happy hour for cocktails between 9pm-10pm. The cocktails were pretty good and there is a wide selection. The food served at the bar was also made to a good standard.

We looked at the swimming pool area but didn't use it. The pool is fairly large, very clean and there are loungers around the outside. The fitness area looks onto the pool. It looked well equipped and a good size.

I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Hotel location is good to go to and from city center or airport.
Bus 200 has stops near the hotel entrance either to center or to Zoologischer Garten.
Zoologischer Garten U-bahn is about 800 m to the west, still near Wittenbergplatz U-bahn is about 600 m. to the south.
At Zoologischer Garten the X09 bus goes straight to Tegel Airport.

We had an offer with breakfast and late checkout included.
We asked for a quiet room in an upper level with views to the Zoo (that is to the North). Room has very good sound insulation from street noise. Window is bottom hinged and cannot be fully open.
Planes flying up from Tegel can be seen from the window.
Bed is huge and very comfortable. Robes and slippers are provided.
The wardrobe is quite small for storage for a couple to stay a week long.
The design bedside tables are useless with no drawers.
Flat TV is quite big, it has way too many channels in German; a good point Italian RAI 1,2,3 are available; missed Catalan TV3 as other local Spanish channels are available as well.
An American plug in with 110 voltage is missing, not even one for the razor in the bathroom.
Room has tea facilities (kettle, tea bags, instant coffee).
You get complimentary bottles of water which are replenished daily, and a jar of varied nuts on arrival.

On the bassement, but with natural light, there is the big pool (maybe 20 x 10 m), and the spa (mixed gender) with sauna and steam bath. Admitance to the pool and spa area is done with the room keycard.
The only complaint is that at some times there are noisy people and screaming children in the pool or inside the sauna.
The convenient long opening hours for the pool, from 06:30 to 22:00, allows plenty of time alternatives to escape that nuisance.
There is a small room in the 2nd floor with complementary pcs with free internet connection (e.g. to check in flight and print boarding pass).

Breakfast buffet is plentiful, many varied options and excellent quality, with fresh orange juice, real yogurt, eggs cooked on the spot, lots of different sorts of bread, several types of puff pastries, several kinds of soft cheese, several German specialties like liver paste and nurnberger and wiener sausages, etc. I personally missed some sort of hard cheese.

Room Tip: Ask for views to the Zoo park (North), planes flying up from Tegel can be seen from the window.

Really enjoyed my one night stay here, hotel was very clean, staff friendly, but knocked on door too early in morning! Forgot to put sign on door, so my fault, but great otherwise. Nice area around hotel.
