disadvantages:
1. Parking - it just tiny size, to call there for luxury car difficult quest, and movement within the more difficult task, even for small cars;
2. internet is very slow;
3. in the pool a lot of hairs and dirt;
4. Pool full of kids - its not a business hotel;
4. the restaurant is better not to visit.
advantages:
1. Room;
2. sleep quality;
3. location.

We stayed for 5 nights over New Year, our room was on the 7th floor and after reading reviews we asked for a room overlooking the zoo. The room was a good size, clean and beds comfortable. The spa/pool def worth a visit, separate lift to the spa so no need to use the main lift in your robe and slippers!

The hotel is centrally located and would recommend using the metro, easy to navigate.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking the zoo.

We have come back from a 3 night stay for New year and although we enjoyed our stay I would not say this is a 5* hotel. The suite I did not feel was worth the extra money, the sofa bed that my son slept on was quite hard and we all had a single duvet each even though myself and my partner had a double bed. The storage was very limited for a family of 3 and I had to stand on a chair to close the curtains to get them to pull all the way across. The tv stations had a good supply of English channels and there was complimentary water although they were a bit tight with their teabags and milk. As previously mentioned the breakfast was very good, new years day breakfast was available to 2pm but I fear the bacon had been cooked for that long too. They did some of the best scrambled eggs I have tasted though. As expected the drinks were expensive 8 euros for a glass of wine and nearly euros for a small bottle of water in the restaurant. We did eat in the hotel on the last night and the food was nice but nothing to get excited about unless you like your mash purple! We saw the New Year in at the hotel and I have to mention how good the staff were that worked on the bar that night in fact all the staff that we spoke to at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The pool/spa area is good, water a bit chilly but I like it as warm as a bath. I did use the steam room but be warned.....they like to sauna naked in Germany.

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. We were very pleased with the service provided apart from the room not being serviced on one occasion for which we received a bottle of wine in compensation. Our room 555 was at the end of a corridor and faced the zoo garden and street but there was no real noise, which was good as the air conditioning did not cool the room and we had to have the window open. We stayed 4 nights but didn't get time to use the swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Good to have a range of British tv channels.

We were very surprised to find that a glass of tea was more expensive than a beer in the lounge bar. We thought the breakfast was very expensive and didn't partake and found a little café in the Europa Centre nearby with breakfast items at 1 euro.

The hotel is on a very convenient bus route 200 between Alexanderplatz and Zoogarten, bus route 100 runs on the parallel road. It is very close to Kaiser Willem Memorial Church and the Kurfurstandamm. We hope to return to Berlin in the summer and have no hesitation in booking the hotel again.

Great location near zoo, s-Bahn & u-Bahn station. Nice big room. Free wifi if accor member. Great buffet breakfast. Excellent service. Minor issue with safe resolved promptly. Facing the street and the zoo would be good.

Room Tip: Facing the street and the zoo would be good
