As noted by others, the location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the museums on Museum Island. We walked to most locations in Berlin from here and for the few that we were too tired to walk to or from, the taxi ride was about 10 Euros. We got a very good deal on the price including breakfast, which made it an excellent value. The staff at reception went out of their way to make sure that everything was up to our expectations and the breakfast was outstanding. We ate in the restaurant one evening since we arrived late and didn't want to go out. It was all right, nothing special, hotel quality food at prices. Here too the service was very good. An added bonus is the six floor high aquarium in the center of the hotel visible from the elevators as well.

We booked 3 business class rooms for a family stay and requested a slightly earlier check-in (13:00 instead of 15:00) unfortunately only one room was available as the hotel was busy. We were then advised that the room with twin beds was on a different floor (3) as floor 6 has only has king size beds. Worth noting if your family are younger.

The aquarium in the atrium is great and our views of the Berliner Dom were excellent. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, just ask if you would like something other than plain coffee.

The hotel is in walking distance of all the main attractions and surrounded by plenty of places to eat and drink if you want to try somewhere else.

Overall I would recommend this hotel as we had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped although as someone else mentioned, the bedroom furniture is not to the same standard as 5* London hotels.

Room Tip: Business class rooms have a view of the Berliner Dom. If travelling as a family check you have rooms...

Situated right by cathedral, alongside River Spree with many restaurants. Great place for a nice glass of wine. Hotel very modern in foyer. Hotel rooms nice, maybe bathrooms could be updated and would prefer a shower cubicle instead of over the bath. Don't book here if u rely on Wi Fi - it never worked once.

Staff friendly and they had no problem with us checking out at 3 instead of 12, free of charge. Would recommend!

Room Tip: You can ask to face the aquarium or outside.

Easy access to Tegel Airport via bus TXL and you can walk to all the major spots.( Brandenburger Tor, Check-point Charly, Potsdamer Platz, Sony Centre, Musem Island, Alexander-Platz). This is a great hotel if you are visiting Berlin, we have stayed in a lovely room facing the Berliner Dom! The fish tank is awesome. I could not get bored of it. We did not had a chance to come down for dinner but the breakfast was great. Good quality bratwurst ( as far as I can tell)
The staff was really nice and friendly too. I would highly recommend this hotel if I am back in Berlin again I will definitely come back.

Room Tip: I have stayed in 2111, which was facing the Dom. GREAT Room and view!

Great location for sightseeing, within walking distance of lots of attractions and right next to museum island.

Hop on hop off bus tours were great value and you can get a two day ticket that covers two different routes for €30.

Lots of choices for food and drink nearby.

Hotel was great, we didn't pay the €25 for breakfast as there was so much choice (and much cheaper) nearby.

Hotel bar prices are expensive, €10 foe a glass of wine. Nearby bars and restaurants were much cheaper.

Room Tip: We had a room looking inward to the fish tank, our friends were in a room looking out onto Main Stre...

The service was impeccable. The concierge was extremely helpful, and provided all information requested. Food was very good overall and the breakfast excellent. The aquarium was a great touch, watching the fish was an extremely calming experience, and watching the scuba divers cleaning was fun. The hotel is well situated for visits to the museums on the island, and within walking distance of numerous attractions. The room was very comfortable and room service excellent.

Room Tip: If you would enjoy a view of the aquarium from your room, ask for an aquarium view room.

The staff are very helpful, especially the concierge, who you can ask for anything.

Room service is prompt and the food is delicious and ok priced; the beverages, however, are overpriced (buy water/soft drinks/beer/snacks/cigarettes from the shop on Karl Liebknecht strasse, right next to the Ampelmann store. Incidentally, that same store also sells the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tickets, and the stop is also there).

Plenty of food choices to chose from in the small passage between the hotel and Sea Life.

Spa was great; massages available and are very professional.

The location is a perfect spot from where you can explore the old part of the city (Nikolaiviertel) and also the Museum Island.

Room Tip: We had a great Standard Room on the second floor facing the river and the Berlin Dom (corner room, 2...
