Easy to get to, well signposted, efficient staff
This is slightly outside of the main city towards the East Side Gallery, so get there a bit earlier and take on board all the art work on the wall first and then head up for your gig / event.
If you are staying in the City Centre and don't like walking, make sure you sort your journey home, whether its the UBahn, Taxi or bus so you aren't waiting around. That said, it's less than 3 miles to Potsdamer so not the end of the world if you have to walk...

we were lucky enough to be treated to tickets to see taylor swift at the o2 Berlin. couldn't get over how large the venue was... we had seats 4 rows from the front ....excellent.... very modern bright clean lots of food outlets and looked like a lovely restaurant upstairs ... next time will try that out.
massive stage for Taylor swift with lots of area for her to move around. was impressed that the venue stopped other people from coming down from their seats and blocking our view.
great atmosphere felt very comfortable in the surroundings....would recommend o2 and especially Taylor swift who sounded brilliant live....very east access to the venue from the train station less than a 10 min walk surrounded by local shops and lots of restaurant bars. dont be put off by the graffiti around town people very freindly

Went to see a Eisbären Berlin home game against the league leading Cologne Sharks. The venue is very modern with plenty of shops and food/drink outlets. There is excellent seating in the main arena and easy access. A ice hockey night here is not to be missed, the crowd sing and dance throughout the game and the atmosphere is buzzing - there are loads of families having a night out together. Its intoxicating fun and draws you in. We enjoyed its so much we bought tickets to the next game. As someone else said if I lived in Berlin I would get season tickets its such a great night out.

We went to see a basketball match in Berlin, and what a blast! The cheer girls weren`t exactly athletes, but at least the players were. It`s easy to get there using the Ubahn and it`s a great way to spend an evening.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to watch the Berlin ice bear's play ice hockey and win last night. They were not the favorites, but with the home supporters behind them they played brilliantly. This is a great venue, smart, clean and new. We were in a box which was great. Local fans were excellent making the atmosphere up beat and very energizing. It was quick and easy to find a taxi after the game. Food was great in the box.
