We booked here at the advice of our guide. Only a suite was available for our dates, and the price seemed reasonable for the accommodation. We were well pleased with the space we had, a spacious bedroom with an adjoining sitting room, two TVs, large bathroom. The breakfast was very good. They did not have a fitness center, but referred us to a club two stops away on the train at Alexanderplatz.
The neighborhood was interesting with a variety of restaurants and shops. The elevated was around the corner, and several tram lines on the street outside. Getting around was simple. The buildings opposite had courtyards leading one to another with many trendy shops. All in all it was an excellent experience.
We had a very early morning departure to the airport, and the front desk made arrangements for a taxi and had a box lunch waiting for us since we would not be having breakfast.
The staff was very helpful, although when we asked and purchased public transport passes they sold us a rather pricey visitor card that proved not to be very appropriate. We would have been better off getting the regular pass at the station around the corner.More
