We stayed here from the 9th to the 12th of April, really nice hotel and excellent staff, the hotel is within easy access of the local tube station which made travel throughout Berlin really easy and cheap, rooms are very clean and decorated nicely, only 1 issue is that there was only 1 pillow per person and 1 towel between 2, however when I brought this to staffs attention they provided extras straight away, we had a few drinks one night in the lobby bar and it has a really nice atmosphere, the staff really are a credit to this place as they couldn't do enough for us! Will definitely return!

thank you for sharing your experience with fellow travellers. We were happy to hear you enjoyed your recent stay with us.
Just a quick note: we keep an additional set of towels in the wardrobe but I am pleased to hear that you got them briefly after your inquiry.

Nice hotel in west Berlin. Easy transfer from Tegel on 109 and 5 minute walk to U bahn or 10 to S.

Kaisers just around the corner for all the little things you need, including breakfast goods, as at €15 I thought the hotel one a little expensive, although I didn't see it, and is in keeping with the prices of the area.

Bar area felt a little "hotel bar" for me, but looked nice and the staff were good. Speaking about the staff, they are great. Ready with good information, and always ready with a smile. Nice touch of liitle chocolates on the reception on Easter Sunday.

Small but functional fitness area, with a great sauna and shower area, had it all to myself.

Room looked great, on the 7th floor there was no problem with street noise. Found it hard to get a good temp, as the aircon system is a bit vague.

Lovely comfy bed. TV/entertainment system is slow, and radio channels didn't really seem to work. Wifi was free but patchy. Had to get new codes a couple of times.

Bathroom looks great, but showering can a bit a nightmare as the floor basically floods unless you are careful. Not a major problem till you forget and go in in your socks!

Toiletries are ok, nothing special. Same with the towels.

Had a terrace outside the room, but couldn't get on to it which was a shame.

Would return.

Dear milkandnut,

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at the hotel. I am delighted that you have enjoyed your recent stay with us.

What a shame you didn't join us for our Easter breakfast as we did Easter eggs painting on all tables. As you said, the breakfast price is in line with the hotels surrounding us and even cheaper compared to some others.
The internet code given to you at the reception desk is valid for 24 hours only (this is also printed on them to avoid any confusion), so therefore you have to use a new code from time to time. I am very sorry if this has caused any inconvenience to you.

Rest assured I will share your positive comments with the rest of the team as well as we will discuss your constructive feedback internally.

I am looking forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Best wishes,

Can not fault this hotel for cleanliness, quality of the rooms and public areas. The decor is very modern and upbeat. The staff are excellent providing a friendly efficient service. The bar staff in particular, create a good atmosphere, if you wish to relax at the bar. I can recommend the bar food, as being well worth a try and good value. The hotel location is great for exploring the west and central parts of the city on foot while also being close to the U & S bahn to travel further a field. The shopping area of Ku Damm, is on the doorstep, with the Teirgarten a 15 minute walk.
Access from Tegel airport is easily achieved , either by Taxi or local Bus in 20 minutes.
The hotel provides free Wi-Fi. The quality of the rooms shown within the Hotel photographs are true to reality.

Room Tip: Inward facing rooms are the quietest, as they do not face traffic noise.

Neat and "artsy" hotel. But still not as "artsy" as they promote themselves to be. Anyways, that doesn't matter. The rooms were clean, simple and but maybe a little bit small. The bed was to the comfiest, but we still managed. There is a nice bar in the reception area where it's nice to have a drink before going out to dinner. There are several good restaurants in the area. Again I thought the breakfast was expensive, so we went out for breakfast. Out the door, take right and then and first to the left. There is a perfect breakfast café; juice, coffee, sandwiches, fruits and bakery.
Also the hotel has a sauna and shower area in the cellar, we had it all by our selves! It was great after a long day of sightseeing, seems new, fresh and clean. Lots of towels!

Dear Iassh,

we appreciate you taking the time to give us some valuable feedback via Tripadvisor.

I am very sorry that you felt the hotel was not "artsy" enough for your likings. Did you have a look at the over 250 art works and photos from Andy Warhol? If you are interested we are also more than happy to provide you a free art tour through our hotel-just contact reception next time. Also in our bedrooms and all over the hotel you can find everywhere Andy Warhol details such as the Marilyn lips on our carpets, the Marilyn head as mirror, the Verve-banana logo as a handle, Andy Warhol lights,... to name just a few.

The breakfast we offer is priced with 15 Euros per person. This includes as many coffee/tea specialities and juices as you want. The price is below most hotels in this areas so it's unfortunate that you still found it too expensive.
However, I am very pleased that you had such a fantastic time at our bar FACTORY and that you loved our new bar menu.

Also thank you for your positive comments regarding our sauna & gym area. Glad you took the chance to unwind after a long day in Berlin.

On behalf of our entire staff here at the art'otel berlin city center west we would like to thank you for your stay and we hope to see you again when are in Berlin next time.

Sincerely,

I absolutely loved everything about the hotel, the art, the Andy Warhol dbl room where we made a couple of good pix. The location is good, close to all the sightseeing by subway. The receptionist was helpful. Bed sheets were super clean and the bed was comfortable. The room is a little bit too small but I can stand this for the sake of art :)
The only real (though still minor for me) downside was (as mentioned by others already) that the shower doesn't have a door and there is a water all over the floor each time you take a shower. If do it late in the evening though and leave it till morning, the floor will be dry by then.

Room Tip: we had one with Andy Warhol portrait in the wall, can't remember the room number, but it did a n...

the art'otel in Berlin (West) is super conveniently located, nicely decorated in a Andy Warhol them, quite funky, without being over the top. Also there is a great litle bar, friendly and helpful staff as well a good breakfast. But the location really gives them 10 out of 10, just minutes from the Ku Dam, the shops, cafes and restaurants are all very near, also convenient if you are attending an event at Messe Berlin, like ITB

Room Tip: i was allocated the disables room, which is huge, but no bath
