Close to underground, friendly helpful staff. Individual duvets on a double bed don't really work and blinds let in too much light. If the location suits you (as it did us) it's fine. Loads of kebab shops etc nearby and a good street market on Saturdays.

Very nice hotel in the hart of Schöneberg berlin, cheap but very good. Spotless clean, nice staff and nearby nollendorfplatz so all the Hotspots are within walking distance or otherwise easily reached by public transport.

Comeing here for a couple of years, and it is always good to be here. Staff friendly, rooms clean. Hotel started a renovation: new reception desk, lift, rooms.
Breakfast buffet is fine. Hotel is 50 m from U Nollendorfplatz. Lots of restaurants and gay bars in the area. Hotel is gay friendly.

Great location, friendly and professional staff. Comfortable clean rooms and a lovely breakfast selection. Would definately stay there again. Recommended. My only little 'niggle' was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities. Otherwise 5/5.

After many visits I find Sachsenhof to be pleasant and well-run. The owners are always renovating it, which is a good sign. Perhaps noisier this year, but I was near new (?) doors, and anyway that was down to other guests. Never understood previous grumbles on this site about the reception late at night, and now with keycards it's easier to enter anyway. Breakfast quite varied, not as varied as at some places but then you're paying a lower charge overall. The convenience of the location speaks for itself.

I have stayed at a few hotels in Berlin but since I found this shiny pearl I’m always returning here. I do like the quiet location in Motzstrasse just beside U-Bahn Nollendorfsplatz with four underground lines, which take you in seven different directions. Just buy your ticket at the wending machines in the entrance to every station. Do NOT forget to validate it in the yellow box beside, that stamps the time and date on it. It will cost you dearly not to when the ticket controllers get on the train and they do! If you plan to take more than two rides on the same day you should buy a day ticket.

The staff at the hotel is efficient and friendly and seem to enjoy working together, which creates a kind ambiance that makes me feel at home.

The rooms are painted in calming pastel colours and have a carefully planned electrical system. You will find switches for the light at the entrance and by the bed. There is a reading lamp by the bed as well as a working lamp at the writing table, where you also find a small safe. If you want there is even a lamp standing on the floor that gives you a “feel good” light.
There are quite a few unused sockets in the room, one at the entrance, one by the bed and four at the writing table so you´ll have no problem to connect your laptop and other rechargeable equipment. The bath room has lamps on both side of the mirror and spotlights in the ceiling, its light reaching into the shower.

The hotel has recently installed a new roomy lift with a view over the inner yard. At the same timer the reception hall got bigger. You´ll find a computer for free use in the reception hall by the entrance and you can use free wifi everywhere in the hotel.

The breakfast has got a lot of choices (for example in bread), which make it easy to vary it during a longer stay. The breakfast room is spacious and I’m sure I’ll never see it fully occupied.

In the close area there are many restaurants, bars and shops and you can easily walk to KaDeWe, that is situated one stop away on the underground.

I do recommend this hotel for its good value for money and for the efficient, friendly and helpful people working there.

This was I think the 10th time I stayed in this hotel and it is always perfect: good location, nice staff , clean rooms , 24h reception and gay friendly (close to lots of bars). Recently they start to do some renovations: a larger elevator ! Ubahn station Nollendorfplatz in 2 min. walking, lots of restaurants nearby. The roomprice... always good!
