Our 5 day stay in Berlin was enlightened enormously by the marvellous staff of Louisa´s place!
And our accomodation was superb. A nice and practical suite facing Ku´damm, but no traffic noise was heard. Impressive!

Since the moment we arrived, everything was great at this hotel. The girl at the frontdesk was fast and so nice. We had a grand suite (a family with two kids) and it was just perfect! The space was great, with high ceilings and nice furniture. Everything was really clean!
I found a little expensive the breakfast (22 euro adults and 11 children)
It is really good located, you have many restaurants and cafes nearby.
I recommend this hotel and we would absolutely return to stay here!

We stayed in a Grand Suite as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). There were 2 separate bedrooms (the master had a king bed with balcony while the 2nd room had the world's most comfortable sofa bed along with its own balcony). High ceilings, spacious layout with entry foyer and open living room / kitchenette/ bar area dividing the two bedrooms. The staff were incredibly gracious and helpful and the rooms and hotel were spotlessly clean (no dust anywhere). In the basement, there is a pool/sauna area as well as a small fitness center (treadmill, elliptical and weights). Though the hotel is located in the western part of Berlin, the public transportation system (buses/U and S Bahns) is so extensive and well-running that it wasn't difficult to sight-see th/o the city. About 25-30 min via U-Bahn to Mitte and Museum island area, for instance. 15-20" bus or train trip to the zoo. 20-30" bus trip to Tegel Airport (& the bus stops a half-block away from the hotel). I agree with another reviewer in that my only quibble is the 1.50 euro charge for the extra coffee pods for the Tassimo machine in the kitchen. But this is the only (minor) complaint. We hope to return to Berlin again & would definitely book here again.

Stayed in a Deluxe apartment as a family with two children aged 10 and 8 for 4 nights. First impressions were excellent, with a lovely welcome. Impressive traditional high-ceiling building.

The apartment consisted of a bedroom with king sized bed, a large hallway, large bathroom, kitchen, sofa bed in large living room.

Pros
Traditional and classy decor-feels grand
Spotlessly clean
Lovely swimming pool-not massive admittedly- and sauna
Good location right by Adenauer Platz underground
Classy location towards the quieter end of kurfurstendamm
Pleasant staff
Kitchen facilities handy for breakfast and fridge for drinks-mini market next door
Lovely extras-mini robes for the children, large umbrella in cupboard

Cons

Expensive breakfast at 22euros per adult and 11 per child-bought our own
Building works next door woke me early-a shame as the king size bed was very comfortable!
Tassimo machine in room, first pods free, but then charged 1.50euros per pod thereafter-a bit tight
No bath-just walk in shower
No bar area-bar next door (it was unclear if this was connected to the hotel), but didnt welcome children
Kitchen and dining table in the room, but not enough chairs for the four of us

On the whole, these are serviced apartments not a hotel. That said, we would recommend it, and would return. A lovely stay!

Room Tip: A general comment-whilst apartments are family friendly, parents of small children be warned-there are many large heavy china lamps dotted around....

We would like to thank you that you took the time to evaluate your family stay at our Hotel Louisa´s Place. We are delighted to recognize that you had an overall satisfactory stay with us.

Generally, our suites offer adequate number of chairs for 4 people. After an internal research we found out that chairs who came back from the external cleaning were not brought back into the suite in time. We regret this omission and do apologize.
The vesper bar next door is connected to our Louisa´s Place indeed. Our hotel is a more than child-friendly property. Nevertheless there is a German law for the protection of children and youths that we have to take seriously.

We look forward welcoming you very soon

Kind regards

What a find! The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left after three days. The room was generous in size, immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for a city stay; near great shopping, a huge selection of restaurants and very close to the underground system.

Room Tip: We booked room only as there was a good selection of local coffee shops and bakeries very close by for breakfast.
