This place was our choice on our second day in berlin cause of the good reviews it had. Luckily it was only 5 min walk from our flat. The downside is, there is a long que coming out of the door ( the place is very small anyway). Seating available inside and outside and if you are lucky enough you can get a seat and if you manage to survive the que; they have delicious sweet or salty bakery available with a decent quality coffee. Their sandwich wasnt the best but it was very good (cheese with a traditional German bread).. highly recommend it (hope for it to be less busier than it is on the weekends)

It was great. It has a variety of sweets to choose from. We ordered many things for breakfast and it was unexpectably cheap. The quality of capuccino was great.

We visited this bakery for brunch in the summer. It's on a nice street, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and a very open, modern design. Their portions are very generous, the baked goods excellent, and it is also pretty well-priced!

I was there for lunch as soon as I arrived to Berlin, tried out their vegan sandwich and apple & cinnamon roll. The sandwich wasn't too bad, but the quality of freshess was there. The roll was amazing and it was not a let down, wasn't overly sweet. Not a bad find for a traditional german bakery within the city. Was there when it wasn't busy!

TL;DR –

Good stuff; come here if you don't mind high prices and 10-min queue, otherwise head for The Barn et cetera.

SUMMARY

Despite roadworks on the street, there was a line outside the bakery. Half the people in the queue were tourists with guidebooks/TripAdvisor printouts =).

There was no breakfast on offer because they were short on staff.

The food's quality was great but the prices are rather exorbitant. Soya latte was perfect.

Sweet rolls, to me, were sub-standard compared to what I'm used in Stockholm.

I rate this place at 3/5 because the same level of cozyness and quality is widely available throughout Stockholm and accepted as "the norm", while here it leads to higher-than-normal prices and queues, for which I cannot find any justification.
