It's become an ok place to stay, but not worth the rack rate for a city like Berlin. The parent company is clearly investing its time and money in the sister hotel The Weinmeister, just down the road.
Lux 11 needs a good refurbishment, and the latest money saving ploy (disguised as 'we don't want to disturb your lie in') is to not clean anyone's room unless specifically asked to. Resulting in frustrated people coming back to messy rooms and dirty towels. Just not acceptable for the price you pay and the reputation the hotel claims to have.
Staff were pleasant, which brings my service rating to average.
