“Best Value And Location In Berlin”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

I cannot say enough about our stay in one of these apartments! The location was perfect. The apartment was clean, spacious and fully stocked with everything we could have needed. The staff were very helpful. All-in-all, this has to be the best value in Berlin!

We stayed in an apartment that could sleep six adults in downtown Berlin. Reasonably priced. We were pleased at how clean the apartment was and how large the bedrooms were. The apartments are a minute from the US Embassy and three minutes to the Brandenburg gate. The subway is only five minutes away. Not a hotel, so do not expect housekeeping. But there is a kitchen. Plenty to places to eat nearby. At check in, the staff provided a map and pointed out where the bakery and grocery stores were located. Parking in the area is a challenge. The hotel offers parking about a block away. Contact the hotel when you make your reservation and reserve parking. Most everything (including public transportation) was a short walk away.

A friend and I stayed in these apartments, which we found by chance on the internet. The price was less than a hotel room for the same period, and this was for a whole apartment. The location is ideal for access to everything in Berlin Mitte, and the S-Bahn station is close for travel further afield. The apartment was a bit too IKEA for my personal taste, quite minimalist, but it was clean and functional. The apartments cover several buildings, so you can be located some distance from the reception, which confusingly is called "Info Point", not Reception. Check in/out was straightforward, and there was no need for their assistance during the stay. There's a supermarket a few blocks away for supplies, and wi-if is included in the price. Good base for getting around all the sights.

We got an excellent apartment with two bedrooms, perfectly decorated with IKEA furniture. Nothing extravagantly fancy, but it looked very modern and clean. The bathroom was the only room that was not renovated, but even though small and a little worn out, it was clean and functional. It is placed in a great location, easy walk to everything! We highly recommend this apartment if you go to Berlin with kids, ours are two and three, playground outside, short way to the Tiergarten park area with a lot more playgrounds and kilometers with traffic free space. We found a lot of great take-away places nearby (Italian, Indian and Chinese) and we also filled the fridge with food from the food court at Galeries Lafayette, a short walk away. If you like walking I would recommend a trip through the whole Tiergarten and end up at Cafe Am Neuen See, a great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. One of the days we had lunch they even played live jazz and the place was packed!

Room Tip: Ask for one of the renovated apartments and with a view.

Myself and a group of friends stayed in this apartment over the Christmas period to visit the markets and take in some culture along the way. This apartment is central for various landmarks and also transport, so makes it ideal for a sightseeing trip.

The staff were friendly, helpful and prompt in getting us checked in. The apartment was just around the corner from the reception, and we were all very impressed with its cleanliness and size of it. We didn't really spend much time in the apartment, all we really required was a comfortable place on a night and that's what we got - Would 100% recommend this place.

When I checked in with a reservation for an academic conference, the young woman who checked me in yelled at me that I was too late, Yelled at me four times. Gave me incomplete directions to apartment, which is rather spare (curtains don't close fully). She told me that I had to be there before 9 and yelled at me. Conference organizers said that they were told to be flexible with check-in times. Quality of apartmenT on a 1-10 scale: 2. Quality of service on a 1-10 scale: -100, Quality of arrogance: 1000,

We arrived at the apartments at 11pm and as pre arranged with the apartments we used the key deposit box and all went smoothly. We were two adult couples staying and the apartment had wooden flooring throughout, a kitchen with basic utensils including a fridge, grill, oven etc but no microwave. There was also, a dining area and a living room area. The bathroom had a bath with shower over it, toilet, sink, and a washing machine. The two bedrooms were large doubles and both had wardrobes etc. bedding and towels were included. The apartment has a quiet rule after 10pm which was obeyed by all in the block.

The apartment was clean and tidy, fab view over the Jewish memorial, a large supermarket (hit) down the road and postdammer place within a 5 min walk. U and S bahns aswell as the regional trains were also within 5 min walking distance. As we arrived late we got a taxi from Schonefield airport and it cost us about 45 Euros and took less than 1/2 hour. The appartments are opposite hotel Adlon (where Michael Jackson hung his baby out if the window), Brandenburg gate and Reichstag within 5 min walk.

We loved the apartment, it's location, it was cheaper than booking 2 hotel rooms and we had the living area to chat in and have a couple if drinks. It also allowed us to have breakfast.

There were very few things we didn't like, the bathroom although clean was a bit smelly but what bathroom isn't when you don't have a window, the curtains do not fit the windows and are very thin so let light in but as we had been so busy it didn't bother us as we were Soo tired and we also had a strange conjoining room between the 2 bedrooms that were glass and had no curtains so privacy between the couples was a but of an issue but we just agreed not to go near this wierd window/room. The office don't like you leaving your luggage with them after 2pm which was a bit strange but as we only had 2 bags they let us leave them until 4pm - this was probably the ugg east thing that annoyed me!

Overall. We would definitely stay here again. On reading the reviews we were a but worried as our booking had no cancellation option but it appears it's the luck of the apartment you are given. We were not disappointed at all.
