Me and a friend visited back in October for a short break we went for 2 nights/3 days - we've never been away to a European city alone before so were panicking about how we were going to get from Schonefeld airport (not a great airport but basic does the trick) to the Park Plaza! We got off the plane and there was great tourist desk the assistant asked us where we wanted to get to and literally wrote down directions from a-z fool proof! We also opted for the travel pass on-board Easy Jet which is fab you get your travel on the U-Bahn and S-Bahn for your stay and also really handy maps! If you haven't been to Berlin YOU WILL NEED A MAP! You will see everyone everywhere with a map, once you get your head round the u-bahn/s-bahn it's plain sailing it reminded us of the London Underground. So we made it to the hotel we were greeted by such friendly staff - we had booked out hotel as a top secret one so werent sure if it was a twin or double - as we expected it was a double which we weren't to fussed about however asked to be moved to a twin - from previous experiences they either say no we have non available or there's an extra charge! Park Plaza literally said yes of course we will get one ready would you like to wait in the bar? Which we did and it was a lovely modern setting. Once in the room it was clean and quirky "wall street" inspired and the shower WAS AMAZING. My only qualms with the room was the bathroom doors are sliding and don't quite shut so when sharing a room with a friend this can be quite awkward as you can imagine. The room itself was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Like Berlin the rooms were spotless and we really were happy with the room! Other than this the location of the hotel is close to 2 u-bahn stations which link to all over the city! I may add some of the stations are like mini shopping malls and so amazing! We got all over the city in 3 days and saw some amazing things - we loved the area of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg which is very much a young area full of art and great places to eat! My only warning is not to leave getting the U-Bahn back to the hotel too late especially on a Sunday as we ended up missing the last one and having to walk from Alexanderplatz back to the hotel which actually only took 20 minutes!

We stayed the hotel park plaza for two nights just to see the city n have a break. We were allowed to check in the rooms 3 hours earlier than stated as they were ready which was great as we could start our trip properly sooner! We walked aided with a map given to us by reception who were very helpful to the Brandenburg Gate passing loads of museums, bars and resturants and places of intrest and it probs took about 30mins so the hotel was pretty central to most of the attractions if you like to walk n mooch about. The rooms were great, comfy beds, great bathroom. The bar downstairs was lovely serving the nicest cocktails ever and the staff too were really friendly and accomodating! All in all a great two nights away, perfect hotel for buisness or pleasure.

I stayed for a week during ITB and was really happy with my stay. The front desk staff was really helpful all week. They definitely went above and beyond by helping me print off some items I needed for work and arranging my taxi travels. They're also really good about knowing the area and suggesting good dining options and the best sight seeing spots.
The bar scene was very nice as well. Again, really responsive bar tenders and they use fresh ingredients for the cocktails. You won't find any pre-mixes or any slushy machines here. They do it all fresh from scratch and their presentation of the drinks is superb!!
My room was really clean, be prepared for room service to come around a little earlier than you'd expect but that's not a big deal.
Downside-Food prices are outrageous! The food is served with great looking presentation but the food itself is not anything special. Your better off getting something from one of the other eating places. Wifi-it's slow! And you have to get a internet voucher basically everyday and type in new username and password. There's definitely an easier and way more convenient way to do this.

Overall, this place rocks! I'd stay here again definitely. Oh yah, it's about 100 yards from the U. Really convenient.

Room Tip: Maybe a room closer to the lobby will have a better wifi connection??

Recently stayed here on a business trip. I can't fault the staff, who were all very friendly. The accommodation is well designed and quirky - my room on the 5th floor was spacious and very clean.
Breakfast is a rip off at €17, go round the corner to Cappuccino cafe for a better priced alternative. Convenient to the U-Bahn and within easy reach of the Gendarmenmarkt and Alexanderplatz.
Would recommend for a short stay.

Good location. Very good breakfast. Nice bar at evening.
Nothing to do,to see or to buy near to this hotel. The location just next to the subway makes all the benefit. The stuff were polite and efficient..at the 4th flour there was smoking rooms that no.body took care about.some sections were far from the alivator .

Thank Ronnie H
