Hotel Otto provided a comfortable stay for a very moderate price. The hotel appeared to be fairly new, rooms looked to be quite recently decorated. The style is a bit Ikea-ish and style-wise reminded me a bit of some Hostel apartments, but certainly not bad especially considering the price level. Bathroom also looked brand new. The room was spacious, and could actually have used more furniture, for example a coffee table to eat on, as the desk was bare big enough for a laptop. The room also had a huge closet room, so it would certainly work for a longer visit as well.
The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, there was only minor noise from the street caused by garbage trucks late in the evening, but nights were quiet. The only downside during my entire stay was when I returned to my room at 9PM to find out the large window/door had been left open by the cleaning staff - it was 6°C outside! needless to say, the room was freezing cold and I ended up sitting with my coat on for a couple of hours until the single radiator in the room had raised the temperature a bit.
All in all, an ejoyable stay, would recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced and modern hotel. If you're looking for a high-class or trendy hotel, you might want to consider other options.More
