My room was very smelly and cramped. I asked for another room but the hotel was full. When an alternative was found I packed up my belongings to find that the new room had no pillows, towels or duvet. Reception didn't seem able to find any, so I returned to the original smelly little room. Checked out a day early because I couldn't stand it. On each of the 3 nights I did stay, my key card didn't work when I got to my room, so I had to go back to reception to have it re-programmed. The best I can say is that it's in a good location.

Excellent room but basic is tight on space, with little room for luggage and squeezing past.
Forgot to request room cleaning one day and so room was not done - remember to put sign on door to get room done!
No tea/coffee making facilities in room, so ask a reception for coffee making box which contains all you want.
Used luggage room on last day - very useful.
Within reasonable walking distance of Haupbahnhof station and Under den Linden. Nearest station is Friedrichstrasse - not totally convenient but no real hassle.
Nice cake/coffe shop at Schumannstrasse/Luisenstrasse for alternative to hotels 9Euro Breakfast.
Very quiet at night - no city centre noise.

A group of us stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (long weekend) in July 2013 - this was to celebrate a 50th birthday.
We arrive at 10.0pm and check-in was fine, however, this cannot be said about the room/s which are disappointingly very small (the phrase ‘swinging a cat’ comes to mind). The room was clean, but then again it’s the least you should expect..
The breakfast was also somewhat of a disappointment which consisted of the basic’s (roles, and cold sausage, bacon, egg etc.); typical continental type breakfast, which frustrates most people, unless your on a diet  - The location of the hotel is probably the only plus points – not much more can be said really….!!!

Stayed for 3 nights of Aug. 7 to 9, 2013.

Good:
- very good value given its location (25 mins. walk from main Berlin train station (longer with suitcases), 10 mins. to metro, 20 mins. to Brandenberg Gate and Reichstag, river cruises).
- toilet (with sink) separated from a good shower (with sink)
- complimentary wi-fi for more than one device
- room, beds were nice and clean

Not So Good:
- very small room
- hallways a little dingy and smelly
- night staff assurance that I could book another night at the same rate not honoured by day time staff (no worries ... found a better place elsewhere for less money)
- no in-room coffee or tea maker
- worn (grubby) looking carpet

Breakfast is available. We didn't try it as there's a great breakfast and lunch café at the corner of the street.

Overall, good value for money if all you're doing is needing a bed.

Used this hotel when my daughter was admitted as an emergency to Charite Mitte Hospital which was less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It's within easy walking distance of Unter den Linden and close to the main train station. Overall not a bad location as base to explore Berlin.

Hotel is basic with small but clean rooms with basic facilities. Air conditioning works very well.

Not much else to say; breakfast buffet at 9 Euros does the job but is more to be eaten than enjoyed.

Hotel was booked and paid for by insurance company and I was shocked how much they paid as I could have stayed at the previous hotel which was a 4 star plus for less.

If you can get this as a reasonable price it is a perfectly acceptable hotel.

Let's be honest. Honest. For the price this hotel in this location is 4/5. For a hotel in Europe, it is 3/5. For what I expected, anticipated and hoped for it is a 2/5. Here is the nitty: 1. We drove into town. I asked for parking and a disabled room. We got neither. Even though online advertisements show parking included the fine print is you must go two blocks away to park your car. Walking to park my car is not a pleasurable pastime for me. This is despite the fact that once in the hotel you might find there are three parking spaces at the hotel that cost €3 more than he garage. They were not offered. We're they full? Well, maybe, but not from what I could tell. Oh, wait. See picture. The rooms are typically European tiny. That is okay. The DO have free wifi Internet. We could have stayed at the Ibis with parking and Internet for less. Daughter said no more stiff mattresses. Breakfast is good and priced the same as elsewhere in Germany. What drops this hotel from my recommendation is the way we (I), a hard of hearing, crippled old man were/was treated throughout. My recommendations for improvement include telling tourists they can buy their Berlin Welcome Card right there. Providing coffee 24x7 free for guests. Put it in the price. It is an international hotel. Honor the do not disturb signs. Honor the clean my room, please, signs and give people clean towels without having to ask, at least. Could have stayed at a 4 star for the same price. Check it for yourself.

Room Tip: Not much choice, I think. They are all quiet. Right next to an air raid shelter, next to the Ukrain...
