Well, this is not a hotel really. But a bed and breakfast on top of a restaurant. In fact it's written "Adebar" outside.
When you enter, you cross the restaurant and the "reception" is just the bar desk where the gentle waiters give you the key. Not a great first impression really. The room is small and even though we had asked for a double bed we got twin beds side by side (which still had empty space between). The lovely part of the room is the internal private balcony that overlooks the street, this was certainly the highlight.
The location was excellent, just a few meters away from Alexanderplatz and the Metro just in front of the b&b&b (bed and breakfast and bar). The breakfast was very good and served on the ground floor.
The Wi-Fi was not reaching the room so you had to go down to have a connection.
You have to give back the key when you are away from the "hotel" but if you return late you have to ring at the back door (as the restaurant is closed after midnight) and ring a bell so a person (night watch?) comes to open. Unfortunately, when we came back one night we had to ring for a quarted waiting outside on freezing temperature as the night watch was obviously sleeping. They have to sort this out.
The price was OK but it could be cheaper if you think you sleep to a b&b and not in a real hotel.
