At first glance the building looks a bit scary like taken from a drakula movie. So different than the rest of the street. A bit gothic and grey. Inside it looks much nicer, warm, modern and posh. And the best thing - They had a menu in ....English!!! Something that not all restaurants in this German capital have.
The waiters were very polite and professional. The food was good, more than the average Italian restaurant but I can't say it's the best I've ever eaten. The Risotto was not cooked enough (Not "al dante" I mean still hard to chew) but the great creamy sauce hid it well. My dish was some kind of curly pasta with spareribs meat on it. It was good but very small. For a starter we chose some sort of a ceviche salmon which was so so. The desserts were also in the medium range, was nice but...looks better than the taste. We ended up paying 87 Euros (plus one glass of red wine) a very high price for Berlin which is usually very cheap. But hey, you only live once :) For Berlin I'm sure this is one of the best places, but if comparing to other capitals with good food? Not realy.
