Home to a massive Lindt shop where you get a discount on the pick and mix with a Berlin Welcomecard. I'm sure there are other discounts to be had with that, but I was there mainly for the Lindt. Lots of shops- designer and more boutique styles, as well as eateries and sweet shops. There are also a few obligatory souvenir shops, but you do pay a bit of a premium here than in other areas. Toilets are clean.
I went along to see how much Potsdamer platz had changed, as last time I was there it was just vast spaces and some of the wall, as they were in the process of rebuilding, and wow, you would never know there was even a divide. The mall itself is huge, light and airy. Enjoyed doing a little shopping in normal shops, as I found all the tourist shops very over priced, especially children's clothes .
Beautiful, organized, has everything you need in a mall. Many different stores and easy to access by public transportation
Just as you would expect, the mall has a whole heap of different stores, so there is something for everyone. Only downsides are that it is obviously very busy, and you have to pay to use the toilets.
toilets are 50 cents to pee !
Lots of places to eat upstairs in the mall but we went to a little restaurant that was outside, in the middle between East and West Mall .it had soup and a roll for 5.90 euros. Its called Berlin Coffee. Come out of here and turn left walk across the road and stright on. On the right there will be a space where cars are parked. this is where Hitlers bunker was. If you come out of the coffee shop and turn left, walk to the end, turn right and walk for about a minute, on the right and left you'll come to some grass land, look down, on the pavement you will see the outline of where the wall was. look left and you will see the spy museum, next to this there is a little alley way, walk through this and you will get to the last watchtower, hidden by a tree!
This has over 300 shops in this mall. This opens only Monday to Saturday from 10 am Til 9 pm..This has great transport nearby from s Bahn u Bahn and lots of bus stops nearby.Great food court too but gets very busy so go early.
