We went on the 'Discover Berlin' tour with Rick & the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp tour with Darren and both were fantastic. The guides were so well informed and very passionate about what was covered off in the tours. The Discover Berlin tour is a great way to get your bearings of the city and discover all of the main sites and is useful to get an idea of where you might want to spend more time, I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your stay in Berlin for this reason. Rick was a fantastic guide, very informative & knowledgeable. Darren had a tough job taking our group to Sachsenhausen (a 6 hour tour including travel time) on a scorching 35 degree day, but he managed to keep us all interested throughout the tour. He is also very knowledgeable as he has studied German history. The tour was great for anyone who is interested in this aspect of WW2 and German history. I would thoroughly recommend both of these tours and both of these guides, time and money well spent. Just a tip: If you go on the Sachsenhausen tour make sure you take a sandwich and/or snacks with you, as there is nowhere to get food on the tour.
