Great museum, not so big your there all day. Took us a few hours to go around. Get the audio guide on way in - nicer than having to read about everything!

Good experience for adults as well as for small kids. The dinosaur skeletons are amazing and the 3d animations kids appealing. The planet room set the scene for a good chat for your kids! Absolutely worth going for

They have the worlds largest mounted dinosaur on display. That should be enough reason to visit this museum. And the entrance is only 5 euro.

Lovely museum with interesting items and the guides available are all very happy to help and explain artefacts (in English too). Not all items have a written English explanation - but why should there be. Head sets with bilingual descriptions are available. Although a good museum, this is not a patch on the London Natural History Museum in both size and the number of exhibits.

Thank you very much for your review and recommendation. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit. Our exhibition is currently undergoing some reconstruction. We would be happy to welcome you again by 2018 when we open further exhibition halls with even more displays in English and German.

Just how a museum should be, I loved the old building housing the exhibits and had a fine time looking at dinosaur bones. Didn't have much time for the museum, but managed to go through most of the exhibits. Apart from fossils, I really liked looking at their immense collection of geological rock samples.
