“When traveling with children, a must ride!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

Museum large and diverse and interesting collection (part of geology is very diverse). Recommended to appreciate stuffed species, as the last female of the Tasmanian Tiger, among other animals visitation.
For me, as a Brazilian, the visit was exciting because I could see a Spix's Macaw (Cyanopsitta spixii) and stuffed Featured, pet my country and considered extinct, to my great sadness.
When traveling with children, a must ride!

“The largest mounted dinosaur skeleton in the world!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

I came for the dinosaurs, I stayed for hours BECAUSE of the dinosaurs. I could have stood there staring at that Brachiosaurus all day long, it was absolutely breathtaking.

The museum has a lot to offer, but it was worth it even just for this. Astonishing and a must-see.

The rest of the exhibitions weren't a let-down either. We spent a long time with the 'Wet Collection' as well, which was thousands of preserved spiders, fish, crustaceans, amphibians, mammals... everything! It's quite eerie.

Highly recommended!

I was really impressed with all the exibition. My only complaint was that some wings were closed for restauration. Good price, free audio guide in 10 languages. Good for kids

feel free to skip this museum. While it has a nice collection of dinosaur bones and an impressive display of the big bang theory it lacks in other departments which feel small and obsolete.
