The selection of chocolates is amazing - probably the widest selection I've ever seen. And the chocolate sculptures are really cool to see. But if one of your main reasons for coming here is to visit the cafe, do know that the pastries and hot chocolate are very good, but not really better than a number of other pastry shops around Berlin. I had better hot chocolate at Chocolateria Sünde in Kreuzberg, a wonderful Sacher Torte at Cafe Einstein on Kurfürstenstraße (not talking about the place on Unter den Linden - are they related?), and amazing French pastries at Du Bonheur (Brunnenstraße). All without the mediocre service and the crowded tourist scene that is Fassbender & Rausch.
