Stayed here for four nights with a friend and my girlfriend. Clean room with an OK standard. The breakfeast was good, and the staff nice. A lot of resturants, shops and an U-bahn -station within 10 minutes walk. But, if you're going to use the elevator a lot, I won't recommend the hotels, because the elevator is very small. We were three persons who tried to use it, and that was very difficult. But, for everyone else, I will recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: If you can't walk up and down the stairs that much, ask for a room on the first floor.

Booked this hotel through Travel Republic for a midweek break with my Wife and Daughter. We landed at Schonefeld airport and caught the train then underground (U7) to Adenauerplatz which is 2 blocks away from the hotel about a 5 min walk. Adenauerplatz is a busy junction and there are some nice places to eat try Graffiti . The Europa is a functional hotel with no bells and whistles. The rooms are clean and tidy. The bathrooms are clean but could do with updating. The breakfast is continental but plenty of it. The Zoo is about 30 min walk and the tour bus stop is just before. So the area is easy to navigate around. The street outside the hotel is busy but the double glazing is A1 so a good night sleep on the comfortable beds is assured.

We booked a weeks break through Easyjets flight, hotel and transport to and from hotel and we really have had a great holiday nice clean room and twinbeds !!!and a beautiful buffet breakfast attached for the same price which would have cost 12 euros each at a similar hotel each daily! would recommend it as within 100 metres there are 2 supermarkets and plenty of restruants to choose from for to buy what ever you wish, beer, spirts or just crackers and cheese for an afternoon snack and its only 100metres from Kurfurstendamm shops with all the top designer shops , the top class avenue in Berlin and about 7 blocks for the center of old Berlin and a great C&A shop with 3 tee shirts for 9 euros ..cant beat that would come back here anytime nice friendly staff ..!!practice your deutsch sprachen it helps a lot

Room Tip: ask for an upper floor room ..small lift so no big fatties.....will attach foto of hotel when get ho...

The title of this review pretty much sums up my thoughts about this hotel. I remember the halls and stairs as very narrow. We arriwed the hotel pretty tired and we had to carry all the baggage up the stairs, because the lift was so small and we were a big group. The breakfast was OK and the reception was small, eventhough that was the one thing they bragged about when we read about his hotel; the reception. We had to drive pretty far to get to this hotel, so the location wasn't really good either. Another thing was that the rooms were noisy, with this I mean that you could hear everyone outside the room and in the other rooms. No bad experiences here though, it was a clean hotel. The view was OK, we had ours into their quite charming backyard. It is a cheap hotel so I guess this is what one gets. The outside of the hotel was nice and the staff were friendly and good english-speakers.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May, 2012. The rooms are spacious and we had one with a nice balcony and high ceilings. The beds are comfortable and the staff friendly. One night we came in at 1:00 a.m. and all the restaurants were closed so the front desk ordered in pizza for us.
Breakfast was okay and they had enough for you to get by. There are some health and safety concerns here - the elevator makes you claustrophobic - I had to take the stairs all the time. 3 people cannot fit comfortable in it and the carpet on the stairs need immediate attention as it is frayed and someone's shoe can easily get hooked in it.
The hotel is close to the train station, Subway (food chain) and coffee shops so overall good location at a fair price.

We have just returned from a three day break in Berlin. This hotel is situated just off Kurfurstendamm, one of the main roads into the city centre. It is approximately a 30 minute walk to Berlin Zoo and 10 minutes to the nearest Metro Station (Adenaureplatz, Line U7).

The Europa City is a typical European style establishment, offering fairly basic facilities. However the staff are affable and obliging, conversing in good English. The rooms have particularly high ceilings and are relatively spacious with comfortable beds and decent bathrooms. Furnishings are of a respectable standard. Breakfast is ok with three hot choices that partially rotate every morning, as well as rolls, bread, meats, cheeses and various yogurts and fruits. It is well insulated and quiet at night. There is a lift but it has a small capacity and is rather claustrophobic.

Overall if you require a fairly central base with good access to the public transportation system this will tick the boxes.

Room Tip: The Berlin Visitors card is over 16 euro for a two day pass for zones A & B but offers limited d...

We liked this hotel very much. It was very clean, plenty of space to move around, big wardrobe, comfortable bed, free wii-fi with fast connections, location is between 2 ubahn and a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The front desk people were all nice and are very willing to help their guests most of the time. Breakfast was plenty with hot and cold meat selections. We stayed at the hotel during new years eve and they place bottles of wine in the room which was a lovely gesture. Restaurants are plenty around the area. The shopping center K'damm is about 4 minutes on foot. The area is not crowded, quiet at night. The bathroom is adequately sized no toiletries though, but has hair dryer, shaving mirror. Overall i would recommend this hotel.
