Why we chose here: Price, we were on a budget and there weren't many cheap options. Would we stay again? Yes because the price was right however it's not the most comfortable hostel we have stayed it. Pros: Reasonable price compared to other available accommodation. Close to town. Free tea/coffee in the AM. Lots of eateries of reasonable price near by. Easy to navigate 1 mile walk from train station and tram which takes you to the airport. Kitchen was small but functional. They printed our boarding cards for us, for free. We stayed on the top floor and WiFi worked.
Cons: Our double room was actually bunk beds. Boiling hot and no way of controlling the temp. Had to make your own bed up. Kitchen facilities not available all day.. Only one toilet per floor which could pose a problem when the hostel is full.

This hostel is the perfect place to stay in Bremen. From here it only take 5 minutes to walk into town and you can easily get to the station with a 5 minutes ride with the straßenbahn. Both dorms and toilets are super clean and tidy, and the kitchen and common rooms are very nice and comfortable.
The staff is super friendly and helpful too!

Very nice stay at Townside Hostel. Everything was very clean. You even have a kitchen that you can use for whatever and whenever you like. The beds were good too! Even though we were a big group, they managed to keep everything nice and smooth.
Ps: I only spoke with Lina, the recepcionist, and she was really nice and kind! All in all, all the staff have great vibes. I totally recommend it!

Very good for an hostel. Even in a dorm room you get quite a nice privacy due to how they put the beds. Very clean, nice public room, nice bathroom.

Only bad thing was I had loud roomates, not the problem of the hostel, but only education of these people..

This really is everything you need in a hostel. It is spotless, comfortable, informative and well located. The area is great for bars and nightlife where as the pretty medieval centre is a mere 15 mins walk via a beautiful little park to your right if you fancy a short detour.

I noted a couple of cons people have mentioned about this place but I would urge that aside from making your own bed (which I just hate!) everything else is spot on. If you are looking for a hostel in Bremen this is the one.
