Not much i can say just a very good hotel, spotlessly clean, welcoming professional staff throughout. Didn't know what to expect from Bremen but thought it was a beautiful city with much to offer. Hotel within easy reach of airport use the tram only 10mins away a day ticket is around €8 for 2 adults and 4 kids

We had been looking forward to our stay at the Radisson Blu in Bremen and our experience did not disappoint. The transfer by taxi from the airport to the hotel took just over 10 minutes and the cost was a reasonable 11 euro.
The welcome at reception was warm and friendly and all information requested was readily provided including a map of the city. We had contacted the hotel prior to our visit requesting a room on a higher floor and we quickly checked into our Junior Suite on the 5th floor.
Our room had more than ample hanging and storage space for our 5 night stay and was comfortably furnished throughout.
The L.O.B.B.Y restaurant has a real WOW about it and its decoration is extremely impressive. The menu is quite limited with the main focus being on steaks and burgers. We would have liked to have seen an additional Daily Specials menu which focused on a range of traditional German dishes to compliment this. The restaurant is open all day and mostly appeared underused and the lack of a wider choice of dishes may explain this. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants in close vicinity to the hotel and do provide major competition.
Breakfast is served in the L.O.B.B.Y restaurant and a wide choice is available to suit every palate.
The real star of breakfast service is Bhing who is constantly seen welcoming guests and keeping service under control and always appears happy and smiling. She is a real credit to the hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect and only a couple of minutes walk to the Rathaus and the Alstadt. The main shopping area and the impressive market is in the immediate vicinity. The Bremen Town Musicians - sculpture by Gerhard Marcks is a major draw with lots of visitors aiming to have their photo taken holding and rubbing the donkeys legs to bring good luck.
The rear entrance to the hotel leads directly onto the highly interesting Bottcherstrasse with its selection of craft shops and restaurants. There is also a Glockenspiel which operates on the hour ,every hour.
The Haus Atlantis with its Art Deco staircase forms part of the hotel with the impressive Himmelssaal at the top.
Less than 200 meters from the hotel is the 14 century Gothic townhouse called Spritzen Gebel which is the last of its kind in Bremen.
The Schnoor - Oldest part of Bremen is also just a few minutes walk from the hotel and a favourite with tourists. The Weser river is very close to the hotel together with the landing stage for boat trips. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy a boat trip during our stay.
If there was to be any criticism of the hotel it would be in the housekeeping department. We often like to return to the hotel in the afternoon after shopping and sightseeing and on most days found that our room had not been made up until near 4pm and often tea/coffee not automatically replenished neither the toiletries in the bathroom. It became a little annoying having to either contact reception or catch one of the housekeeping team to get these replenished. This is not a reflection on the standard of cleanliness of the hotel which is exemplary throughout.
But for this little niggle the hotel would have merited 5 stars for our stay experience.
We did find all members of the hotel team extremely friendly and welcoming and would highly recommend the Radisson Blu to anyone visiting Bremen.
Overall this was a most enjoyable stay in an excellent hotel in the lovely city of Bremen.

Room Tip: Our preference was for a room looking to the outside of the hotel as against inwards to the restaura...

Stayed for business one night in July 2014. Everything was clean, smooth and professional, from the reception to the abundant breakfast buffet (which was good for 13 euros, but I would not pay the full 26 euros they seem to ask outside of the summer discount).

This was one of the best hotels, I have ever stayed in. The staff (desk staff, cleaning, and breakfast workers were all friendly and were very knowledgable.) The location is wonderful. You walk out the front door and you are in the Altstadt. The rooms were comfortable, nicely furnished, well-maintained, and clean. There was plenty of coffee packets in the room to have more then one cup and the toiletries were replenished daily. We decided to have the breakfast at the summer rate of 13 Euros per person. It was well worth the price. They had a wide selection to choose from so there was something for everyone. The food was well cooked. The breakfast room is in the main restaurant so there was plenty of seating and the food easily accessible. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. The parking was expensive, but considering you were parking right below the market place it was not outrageous.

Room Tip: We had a room facing outside. It was quiet and let in light. The curtains were heavy so at night you...

This hotel turned out to be an excellent bet. Its location is fabulous - very close to the market square and the townhall. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were attentive. The restaurant crew during breakfast were particularly nice. The breakfast buffet is above-par, and the area in which it is served is very nice.

From the moment we walked into the lobby we were welcomed with smiles and extreme friendliness. Everyone working at the hotel always greeted us warmly and were always ready to help us out. The food at the L.O.B.B.Y. restaurant was very good and we would definitely recommend the burgers...they are excellent and so are the cocktails! The sauna & swimming pool were both clean and there was always a large supply of extra towels. We had a room facing the lobby with no windows looking out on the streets and we would take that again as it was so quiet and peaceful that we could all sleep like babies. The location is also perfect. We walked everywhere. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms looking into the lobby are very quiet.

This hotel is modern, well-equipped and located in a very central location which makes it very handy as it is a few minutes walk to the market square and the old town. There are many cafés and restaurants around the hotel to choose from. The facilities of the hotel such as the swimming pool and the sauna make a weekend break very relaxing.
