Imposing cathedral to visit but couldn't find an English guide to read/speak to so we didn't stay very long. Walked round and astonished to find that much of the impressive columns and stonework is actually painted on. I grant you that from a distance they have done a very impressive job but I was a little disappointed. I assume it was badly damaged some time ago and now been restored as the crypt was original stonework. You have to go when you're there but I did think it was over rated and really they haven't tapped into the English tourist money yet when there is such an opportunity to do so..
