It was the 2nd time my friend from California and I stayed at this Hotel within 2 years,as last time, tte reception was pleasend the room clean , they even gave as the same room we had 2 years ago. The Buffett Breackfast had a choise of various foods for everyone ,cocked ,bacon sausages eggs etc. or continental ,smoked salmon ,shrimps ,cold Meats, Cheeses, fresh Rolls every morning. In the evening a good manue to chose from . The Hotel is within walking distance from the Main Railwa ystation .All the attractions are within a short Bus ride. The only thing missing is a General Sitting Room in the Hotel

In August 14th, 15th we stayed at the City Hotel, since I wanted to see my old hometown one more time after almost 21 years. City Hotel was just what we were looking for: wonderful reception, when we arrived, a great evening meal, and then 2 very amazing breakfasts to go along with it. The rooms were small but very clean and comfortalble. The bathroom nicer than I had seen in other countries I had been. Next year I hope to go back wiith my daughter, who has not been there since she was 7 years old. Plus it was perfectlye located for sight seeing, easy to get around on their bus service. I can't wait til next May to see the wonderful staff and Mr. Schulz again.

This hotel is located in a good location in the city of Bremerharven and walking distances to most venues and transport. Room was very clean and well presented. Reception was welcoming and greeted us in English. The breakfast was well above expectations with both variety and selection. If we were returning to Bremerhaven we would stay there again.

A 15 minute walk from the train station this hotel is on the corner of two roads. Reception was easy and the lady was helpful with maps etc. Our room over looked a church. Our room was small but clean. Bed was comfortable but not enough pillows. The bathroom was ok plenty of towels and soap/shampoo/gel was provided. The room was stuffy no air and it was quite dark. We stayed one night. We walked into town and the harbour area which took about 25 minutes. No internal noise or external noise at this hotel.

Breakfast was included in the rate but when we got there there wasnt much left I had the last rasher of bacon! We were there a good hour before last serving. Although we sat and had a long breakfast chat nothing was topped up no more bacon no more pastries etc. The few eggs were left were cold. In fact the only thing good about breakfast was a good pot of english tea and a small selection of cheeses. Perhaps if you want breakfast it might be an idea to get up early but then you would not expect them to stop topping up over an hour before end of service!

Good hotel for the price and ok for one night if you dont mind walking.

Good clean hotel, no problems but price is the main reason to stay here.
Location is not the best for a tourist you are about 10 mins from the main train station and about 15-20 to the start of the downtown area it is a flat walk and parts of it are scenic.

The hotel has a restaurant which serves good german food, had a decent crowd of locals and hotel guests. Ate there one night when it was raining heavy and did not feel like going out into it. If you don't walk into town or the trainstation an imbiss is the only other option.

Breakfast was your standard german items with eggs, bacon and sausage.
