We like in this hotel all: fantastic view, comfortable room, good wi-fi, in general quiet, good breakfast... A bit far from restorants area, but no problem on taxi - just 10-12 evro. We will come back!

The rooms are spacious, well furnished (everything still very new and in good shape) and all of them come with a reasonably sized kitchenette. This should come in handy to anyone on a budget who doesn't want to eat out for every meal. They do offer breakfast in a little on-site bistro.

Located right on the harbourside, so do expect quite a bit of wind - they explicitly ask you to close the windows on one side of the room before opening the door on the other. That being said, you get a great view of the water, with yachts moored just outside the window. You're withing walking distance to the Auswandererhaus as well as other attractions.

The "boarding house" bit in their name means there's no daily room service, but given that you wouldn't change your towels every day at home either, this doesn't really matter if you're there for a few nights. Other than that, the experience is very much like a regular hotel - fluffy towels, great hot shower, decent beds, ample parking (not sure any more whether it was free, but I think so).

Staff vary in competence, but are always friendly. One thing they need to work on is their wifi - it's complimentary, but the signal gets weaker and weaker the further your room is from the elevator. At the end of the building, it's virtually nonexistent unless you stand at the open window and tilt your device just so...you get the idea.

There was a bit of construction work on a nearby site last time I was there, but never to the extent that the noise bothered you. I've stayed here a couple of times, both on business and pleasure, and would book it again.

A warm welcome and good service from staff and coffee shop. Apartment style room well equipped with very modern fittings and fixtures. On side of marina and within walking distance of harbour attractions and very large shopping precinct. Restaurants and bars within walking distance, even a small beach (sunbathing only). Easy access by car with plenty of fee parking on-site, good breakfast buffet in on-site bistro.

Room Tip: Lower No. rooms are at other end from coffee shop
