This restaurant is hidden away in a park in one of Hamburg's suburbs, with the river on its frontage. We were lucky that the weather was kind, as the sun was shining, it was warm and the locals were out paddling canoes. The flowers were all in bloom and everything was extremely green and lush.
Being 'spargal' (asparagus) season, we had the special of asparagus with hollandaise sauce and ham and were not disappointed.
The setting was glorious and the food matched it. It was an experience to remember.
