Not often you get the chance to actually go into one of these Russian submarines, well worth every penny! A great way to spend an hour after you've walked along the harbour.

Worth a visit but only for the able bodied. It is a very tight fit and an element of both strength and flexibility is required. Not for the elderly or the very young.

Very very cramped sub which makes you realise that this is not a job you would like to so. Only from the 70s but looks even older as from old Soviet Union. Was really interesting and is worth the entrance fee. Only qualm was the tours are only in German so I could not understand!

If you fancy a walk through a Russian submarine, built in 1976, then this will deliver a good experience. Payment is made at the shop prior to entry which can be made in your own time and without any irritating time slots or guides.
The submarine is however tight inside so you will find you have to move along in certain areas to allow those behind to move also.
The different areas are well signed, allowing you to understand the specific rooms or cabins you are passing through, however the extra cost to enter the coning tower was too much for us and we completed the tour without completing this area.
It is a shame that some areas of the vessel are becoming heavily corroded, I just hope that much of the cash raised from customers goes towards the restoration project.
After your visit, why not visit the pub situated across from the nearby Fish Market - traditional and full of locals, you cannot go wrong.

Really interesting to visit and imagine to be part of the crew! And to think that this improbable metal machine was only made in 1976. Not the place for the claustrophobic. Contrary to one of the reviews, we found the staff nice and forthcoming.
