“Nice time in this "Keller" ! Music Rocks !”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

Nice welcome in Grosse Freiheit 36, and great to know that the Beatles once played here !
It was a specific evening with 3 rooms opened, 3 atmospheres: 2000's music, latino or rock.
We really appreciated the downstairs room "Keller" with Rock atmosphere, nice original seats, nice music, nice time, simply!

“Porcupine Tree”
Reviewed 29 September 2006

At first it seemed impossible that this place could hold all those people. I mean it seemed so small. When you get in, you'll see that there is a balcony, going from one side of the stage to the other.
I think that the number was around 1000-1500, but not sure.

If you want excellent view, use the balcony. But it gets hot, so you need to drink some water (There is a bar located in the middle of the balcony).

At the floor, there wasn't that much space, but the intimacy with the band is awesome.

The sound engineer is the key to the whole experience and here he was exquisite, so it goes without saying that the sound on the floor and balcony was gr8, although the bass sometimes went into the Red Zone.

The band it self was excellent, although i think that most of the audience wanted more of the old stuff.

From Copenhagen by train; 4 hours. .

So take your turn at some german culture;
Check out the band list visiting Große Freiheit 36 and join in.
I know i will.
