We have booked this hotel through www.hamburg-tourism.de on Nov 29th, 2009 for a one night's stay on Dec 3rd, 2009 INCLUDING OUR ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER AND CREDIT CARD DETAILS. We received a confirmation the same day, including the information to tell the hotel if you intend to arrive after 6 p.m.
We sent the hotel an e-mail on Dec 2nd at 8.28 p.m to say we would arrive at approx. 9 p.m. the following day.
After a long day's work and journey we were glad to find the hotel as I had to prepare for an important job interview the following day.
But the receptionist then informed us that our room was passed on to someone else but we could have a much more expensive room at a sister hotel. Their reason for giving away our room was that we didn't reply to an e-mail asking AGAIN for our credit card details later (8.48 p.m.) on the evening of Dec 2nd.
