If you are staying here you are close to the reeperbahn :) even though you are close you will get your sleep and you are close to the alster as well. Nice staff and the bar on the 20th floor is the once with the best view. nice ppl very good drinks.

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. Always a very pleasant stay. Clean modern rooms, great service throughout and very affordable. And for sure the most action for a HOTEL BAR... located on the top floor - expansive 20 ' glass windows oversee the bright city ,lights at night and the expansive Hamburg port..stunning backdrop to a bustling business and fashion conscious crowd..10 minutes away from the bustling swank of the Reeperbahn.

A very nice hotel. Clean rooms with enough space. Bathroom also very modern and clean. 2 good restaurants and overall good facilities. A nice hotel to stay in. The bar at the top floor is a brilliant place to relax after a long day. Personnel very friendly.

Modern hotel with views of the Elbe from every room. Watch the cruise ships.
A short walk to the busy waterfront with shops and restaurants. In addition to sightseeing tours, by bus, bike or mini-car.
A short walk in the other direction and you are downtown among the many high-end shops.
Vibrant night club on top floor, with exotic cocktails.
Rooms and bath are spacious and well appointed.
The breakfast buffet was lavish. Freshly squeezed oj. All manner of meats, cheeses, breads and pastries. Eggs any way you want.
However, it is located in the St. Pauli district and just a couple of blocks from the infamous Reeperbahn.

This hotel has a very good location being very close to the Reeperbahn. Personnel was friendly and professional. If is not cloudy you can have a beautiful view from the room. Rooms are nice clean and comfortable. I had a corner room having two window walls. Breakfast is excellent and also a good remark for the restaurant.Behind the hotel is not a very good area to walk with kids. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay here.

Let´s get this one staright ahead. Even the lowest internet rate is (comparing apples with apples) pretty high for Hamburg. But you get something back.

Location: Very clsoe to the Reeperbahn, if you are with kids do not take the direct walk, turn left at the exit and the next left again it avoids one of the nastier areas. Very short walk to Landungsbrücken and Alter Elbtunnel so two other major attractions are close by.

Rooms: Decorated in a very modern way so not a lot of stuffing and pictures but they do the job. Beds are tha standard double bed and the minibar is very well stuffed (but expensive of course) the one big minor is the bath where there is no separation between the shower and the rest of the room so after a shower the bath is partly wet.
If air sucks in via the door a towel will do the trick. Of course the rooms with the nice views are more expensive.

Staff: Only a routine encounter at the reception so noothing to comment upon here.

One positive is the bar on the 20th floor which offers an excellent view over the harbour area but then again it shows in the prices for the drinks. Pretty well trained stuff and a good menu.

Stopped into this hotel on a recommendation from a local Hamburg resident & friend. It was a very nice place to stay while en route from Copenhagen to Frankfurt - wished I had stayed another day in Hamburg rather than going onto Frankfurt, but that's another story. The hotel is well situated on the waterfront and has killer views of the city. The bar up on the 20th floor was very well attended by many locals - seems to be a trendy place to gather given the views and selection of beverages. The lobby bar was packed with World Cup fans cheering on their respective teams, so the vibe was certainly 'alive'. Grabbed a couple of sushi plates at the bar, which were outstanding. Good selection of bourbons and whiskeys too - nice touch. Check-in and check-out were fine, but my one complaint was that the receptionist seemed a bit preoccupied and included the breakfast as part of the charge. I had asked her not to include this, but she did anyway. Upon checkout, they had to re-run my charges a few times and seemed a bit put-out by this. Otherwise, a very nice stay.
