A calm and stylish hotel with nice views.
This hotel is very clean and is located in a beautiful street , close to the park and shopping center and meanwhile is surrounded by some landmarks and the staff of the hotel are very polite.

This obviously used to be a very posh hotel, but it is past its prime and in need of updating. The whole hotel has a 1970's vibe. It is however clean, has spacious rooms, attentive staff and a great location.

Great location in the middle of Bad Homburg. The building is very grand from the outside.rooms are good size. I was a business traveller, but think the rooms are expensive if I were to be traveling for pleasure. Would recommend this hotel, especially for business travelers.

I stayed here in Aug 2013, and will not visit here again. The staff was excellent, but the hotel is over priced, and has very limited gym and room service aspects. Additionally, it felt more like a chain hotel rather than a traditional European / German guest house. I have found better quality for less money in the area. Sorry, it is difficult for me to criticize, but it's the truth.

We spent two nights in this hotel for a seminar and enjoyed our stay. Bad Homburg is a beautiful small town and this hotel is located just one or two blocks of the main pedestrian walkway through the town. The hotel is on a quite residential type street and is just across from a beautiful park. Location is very nice.

The hotel is nice, with large public areas and comfortable meeting rooms. Our room was spacious and the bathrooms are nice and clean. Our room was on the fifth floor and the air conditioning was just not very effective. Fortunately, the evenings were cool and we could sleep with our window open. If not for this, it would have been awful. Every one we spoke to that had a fifth floor room had the same problem. Those on other floors did not. I noticed that others had made comments in the past as though there was something wrong with the air conditioning, but I suspect this is what it is, and I wouldn´t look for it to improve. If you stay in this hotel, come in cool weather or ask for a room on another floor.

The mattresses are very, very firm, even by European standards. This didn´t bother us, but may be an issue for others. And the pillows are just completely unacceptable. They are feather pillows that must have a lot of age on them, as they give you about an inch of lift. Not much better than a wash cloth. Fortunately for the second night we requested hypo-allergenic pillows that were much, much better. So, if you need a little bit of lift from your pillow, be sure and ask for these.

We had several meals in the restaurant, both breakfast and lunch and found it to be very nice. I would not hesitate to eat in the hotel again. Service was friendly and prompt. Someone mentioned small juice glasses, but they will give you a larger glass on request.

Bottom-line, this is a nice hotel in a great location. With just a little effort it could become a 4-star hotel, but they need to do a little updating and perhaps give greater attention to quality control. Furnishings are starting to look outdated to us, but others might consider them quaint. We loved the location and while the park is beautiful, we enjoyed most walking through the town. This main street has lots of restaurants and places to shop. Enjoy.

Room Tip: Avoid 5th floor if you need air conditioning.

Stayed here April 2014. Rented 10 rooms. They failed to clean the room over 7 days, only making the bed and folding towels. Moreover, when I arrived, I was specifically told to park in the garage. I was not however told until checkout that parking was TWENTY-ONE EUROS per night.

Their internet is also pathetically slow for a modern hotel (unable to even get email) and A/C didn't work in any room. We spoke to a manager about these issues and were given the cold shoulder.

Garbage hotel. Worse management.

I spent two nights here in early March of 2014 on business. The rooms were big and the beds were hard. Internet worked but not fast. The hotel bars was small but nice. The best part of the hotel was the location. It is at the bottom of the main street of the town. They are located across the stree from a park and a 5-min. walk to the Casino. The staff was friendly and helpful in arranging travel and finding good places to eat. I would stay here again for my next trip to Bad Homburg.
