Braustub'l has the atmosphere you would expect from a German brewery serving food, almost to the point of being a stereotype. The main attraction here deserves to be the local beer, and the various options are all worth a try. The food is traditional German fare prepared with various degrees of success. The Flammkuchen one of my colleagues had were pretty tasty, but other dishes less so. My schnitzel was well made but the accompanying potatoes were extremely undercooked and under seasoned. The same for my Apfelkuchen dessert: really tasty filling and pie crust spoiled by a burnt base.
Braustub'l won't win any food awards but it is still worth a visit for the beer and a snack to go with that
