More like a hostel than a hotel. Fairly basic with old school furnishings. It was clean but i won't be staying here again. I wasn't comfortable with the location of the hotel either. I thought this hotel was very overpriced for what it was. I paid 185euro on a Thursday night with no breakfast included!

The hotel is located very close to the Hauptbahnhof in a kind of "rough" neighbourhood, but this didn't cause any problems for us. We appreciated being able to check-in early on the day of arrival and really liked the room: great double bed and well-designed interior with attention to details. The information in the hotel book about restaurants and son on in the area was very useful and the staff were also helpful. We would have liked our stay even more if our room had been cleaned after the first night: we did put out a "do not disturb" sign for some time but later left for some time where it would have been possible to clean our room. However this hotel can surely be recommended - and in that area of the city it seemed among the best choices.

We stayed here for two nights to attend the Frankfurt Motor Show at the International Convention Centre which is an easy 10min walk away. All of the staff we dealt with were warm and friendly - providing a great guest experience. Our room (a larger XL no. 206) was large and comfortable and extended the funky design lead decor evident in the reception and restaurant. There was a good sized bathroom with separate shower and bath. Our room was also at the back of the building so no issues with noise.

I'm sure that in the summer the roof top bar would be a great spot to chill out with an ice cold Becks - sadly on a grey and damp September afternoon it did not hold the same attraction!

The hotel bar /restaurant was packed on both of the mid week evenings we stayed at the hotel with a mix of guests and locals - best to book in advance. The food and service on both occasions was great.

The only things which let the hotel down our it's location in the red light district which is a bit seedy, the absence of coffee in the room - a kettle etc is provided but only herbal teas and a limited number of pillows. One tip if you are travelling by car would be to try and book you parking in advance as spaces are limited to about 12 - all in 3 storey underground car lifts (no good if your car weighs over 2000kgs).

Overall a cool hotel with great staff in a location perfect for the convention centre is a bit seedy in its environs.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the building overlooking the car park so no noise issues.

I booked here as I was in transit to a flight to Asia in the morning. THe hotel is close to the Hauptbahnhof and had free wi-fi. The rooms are comfortable though a little too dark for reading. The restaurant was top rate for dinner as well as a very good Continetla breakfast. All in all it .was very good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for inner court so is very quiet.

We visit a lot of 4 and 5 starred hotels in Europe, that can learn of the enthusiasm of the people working there. Maybe it is not our choice of style. But it deserves a fiver for the service, friendliness, tidiness of the rooms and bathrooms, breakfast and dinner. For this price you get more than you can ever expect. In comparison with Paris you would have to pay 600 euros to get the same service and accommodations. Do not let yourself be scared away from the Levi's interior design, it is worth every penny.

Room Tip: I can not imagine a room that would not fit the requirements.

My boyfriend and I were traveling to Tanzania but had a stopover in Frankfurt from 7am on Saturday to 11am on Sunday and wanted a moderately priced and comfortable looking hotel. 25Hours hotel was nothing short of perfect.

We were allowed to check in for a ready room at 8am at no extra charge. This was ideal because we were quite tired from the flight and time difference.

After taking a nap we borrowed one of their FREE Mini Coopers and went to explore outside the city. We were shocked but so pleased that Mini has this promotion. They even pay you back if you have to put in gas!

We took a 10 minute walk across the city to find a summer festival in the old town and along the river. As others have said, there are a couple of red light streets around here but we didn't feel uncomfortable at any moment and they can be easily avoided.

On Sunday morning we walked two blocks and got to the main train station. 15 minutes to the airport and voila!

I feel bad only giving 3 stars because it's an hotel that is really trying to be different and, I guess, succeeding. The issues we had were that the room was said to be a L but really didn't feel that big, and worse there was no door between the bedroom and the bathroom so the light had to go on and flooded the whole room. Also.. we were in a 50s room which mean a yucky pale blue wall decor which was significantly bumped in a few places.

The other issue.. don't walk 'straight' into town (go right at the crossroads and then left down the main street ) unless you really want to authenticate your rock and roll experience by stepping over the junkies shooting up 200m from the hotel.

Dear realintheory

Thank you very much for your comprehensive & constructive feedback.
Unfortunately it is a little bit difficult to build additionally a sliding door in the rooms. But we have rooms with a sliding door for the bathroom. Our XL category is our biggest and most wonderful category with a suite character. Here you will find a cosy lounge, a tea-station, much space and a bathroom with bathtub and shower and a WC which is separated. The bathroom has it’s own door for the perfect private atmosphere.

We hope that you will stay the next time again in one of our 25hours Hotels, whether in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Zurich, Vienna or Berlin.

Best regards,

Karen Lichtsinn
