We had booked into the sister hotel and on arrival we were told we were very lucky and that we had been "upgraded" to their brand new hotel which had opened ahead of schedule. We were excited...
On arrival it was clear the hotel was not ready for guests. The ceiling had a number of leaks. The reception are had a number of champagne buckets catching the leaks (different class!).
My room had not been cleaned properly and everything was coated in a thin layer of dust. Thankfully the room had slippers otherwise my feet would have been very dirty!
Unfortunately my room had faulty wiring and the swanky lighting system was prone to switching itself on and off randomly throughout the night leaving me in some very compromising positions including being locked out in my pjs! I never got more than two hours sleep in a row.
I have to applaud the staff though. In the face of adversary they were very professional. I could tell they did not believe me about the lights but after staying in my room with me for 20 mins they witnessed the possessed lights at their best. At least we could laugh, it wasn't an electrician they needed but a priest! In the end the hotel gave me a very generous discount on my room for the last night but sadly this benefited my employer and not me, the one who was sleep deprived!
The hotel is very decadent and worth a look but beware the very expensive cups of tea (£8!).

I'm generally a reader of reviews, not a writer - and I've never written Hotel Staff an email other than for trip planning/reservations/etc. Here is a copy of the email I wrote them after our stay: (note - I was in regular communication with Pamela (Guest Relations) who helped me make sure our stay was everything I could imagine, the helpfulness and attention to detail was the best I've ever received from a hotel, and I've done this a thousand times)

Our stay @ Roomers was over the top! I would like to thank you and all the people who were involved with our stay - the room was unbelievable - what a way to end off a honeymoon through Europe!

We stayed at the finest hotels throughout our trip, in several cities in three different countries and I have to say, that Roomers was the finest of them all!

The spa was the perfect way to end a day of invigorating driving on the Autobahn (I'm a racecar driver, so it was Lana's turn to have the fun of sustained high speeds, our next stay with you will be in conjunction with a trip to Nurburgring - I'm already planning it!)

The treats you left us were fantastic, and made helped make the evening more than special - the restaurant did the rest - there is nothing nicer than a fantastic meal al fresco, served with elegance, care and attention combined with a short walk back to a fantastic suite! I can't imagine a more romantic situation.

I can't say enough about how fantastic our stay was - but the ultimate demonstration of it is the fact we've decided we'll use Frankfurt as our only hub into Europe so we can guaranty at least one night with you each trip we take!

Notes: Suite was great!
Dark? not so bad, the other reviews seem to over-emphasize the point, they may not have figured out how to use the lighting controls (automation system) - it does have a dimming feature and does not turn on at 100% illumination.

Restaurant? Not cavernous and empty, the patio was not packed but there was a nice buzz, the food was AWESOME and the service was great - the specialty cocktails were excellent and the wait staff worked with you to make sure you understand what you were choosing and that you liked them - not cheap, but value is defined by the experience in my mind and we got value - the night before we ate @ Celeste in Prague - at the Dancing house, on the roof, overlooking the river and the castle - truly romantic and also over the top and I couldn't say one was better than the other.

The Spa - everything others said, quiet, cool looking, warm glass bead beds were a curiosity and the water massage (you stay dry) was very nice. Its not that its the greatest spa I've ever been in, but from an aesthetic standpoint the experience was a "want to do it again" - Like I said, we'll make Frankfurt (with Lufthansa 1st Class from North America) our way into Europe from now on

Great staff - all multilingual and extremely professional, helpful and courteous! I think the hotel is really interesting and very modern, a definate must see in Frankfurt! Rooms were very comfortable (a little on the small side for 5* but regardless very nice!) Lovely features (although not enough light in the rooms to do make-up!) The bar was just great though, really really knowledgeable staff and I was so impressed with the Moscow Mule cocktail - one of the best i've had! Great if you're on business extremely central and lovely facilities!

This cool design hotel had not been open too long when we arrived and so some of the outside landscaping and the patio/bar/restaurant were still being assembled in the courtyard. The rest of the hotel is set to go and is not only beautiful but a fantastic value, if you come on the right day. The price of the rooms varies wildly, up to three times higher on some days than others, so choose wisely.
The staff is very cheerful, excited and friendly, and seem to be really happy to be working at such a chic hotel, which is really nice for the guests. It has all the requisite design flourishs, stark black here, red or silver there, weirdly shaped things, all the stuff we design hotel devotees love. But this hotel is a step above because of the spa. There are all kinds of things up there, sauna, steam, tubs of heated glass beads you lay in, dry beds with massaging water jets underneath you, unique and interesting. All so fun and relaxing, and best of all, included in the price of your room. It is really unheard of, and certainly gives Roomers its selling point. There is also a decent gym near the spa too, with a killer view of downtown.
The hotel is fairly near Frankfurt's main train station, but getting there is a bit confusing as it looks like you are in an area with office buildings and the hotel is sort just stuck in there and is a little hard to notice. It probably didn't help that we were walking with our luggage in a driving rainstorm to get there from the train station. It seemed like it took forever, but on the way back we saw that it is only a few blocks, once you know where you are going. It's not the most interesting area, but is convenient from the airport via the train and depending on how long you stay, the hotel is a destination enough to keep you busy for a while.
The hotel's restaurant was a cavernous ghost town and not too inviting, but the walk into downtown is not very far. We found a nice place for breakfast on a tree lined street full of cafes which was a nice option if you get decent weather. Frankfurt is starting to get some really interesting hotels, though the city itself is still more of a business stop and for tourists likely more a short stopover necessity.

I stayed at Roomers for 4 days whilst attending a conference at the Frankfurt messe.
I was originally booked into another hotel, but they were fully booked when i arrived so i was upgraded to Roomers.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious.
The only downside to the hotel is that the rooms are too dark and therefore a little inpractical.
Also my room was on the 1st floor overlooking the street which was very noisy, so i requested to be moved, which was no problem.

Very trendy hotel, about 2 blocks from train station and walking distance to city center and the river. Rooms were poorly lit, all black decor seems impossible to maintain cleanliness. Fantastic continental breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Would stay here again only on a package deal, rates tend to be substantially higher than most in the area.
