“Great breakfast, but security was a little dodgy”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

Great breakfast, best hotel breakfast on my 3-month trip to Europe, simply 5-star. But spotty maid service and WiFi occasionally slow. The neighborhood and security were a little dodgy too; anyone could walk onto the parking lot and into the rear building whose corridors were often very dark.

The breakfast provided by this budget hotel is surprisingly good. The selection is great and proper breakfast. The location is quite central and it is just two stations away from the major attractions in Frankfurt. The free wifi service provided is stable and fast. Shower is good with strong water pressure. The distance from the Frankfurt train central station is still within walking distance but it is a 15 minutes walk in the hot summer sun. No air condition in the room and if you have heavy luggage be prepared to carry to upper floors as there is no lift on the building.

I reserved the room on the Mini Everest side on Booking.com. Part of the room booking, I opted for a bathroom. Upon arrival the front desk man, who was very nice, explained to me there were no bathrooms in the room on the Mini Everest side, he did state there was a private exterior bathroom for us but it was down the hallway. He also took 10 Euro's off of the room price. The bathroom did not have an exterior lock and anyone could access the bathroom, which someone did, evidence was left behind. The room was cold and the ference made a horrible screetching noise in the middle of the nite. The hotel is convienantly located near the train station.

Spend two days in Frankfurt and wanted a cheap hotel near the train station.
This hotel is a small building in the back of the Everest Hotel. The rooms are really small but if you want somethng cheap you cannot complain.
The internet doesn't work in the room but you can use it in the reception area.
The beakfast was very very good.

Is ok to spend a night. More than that maybe you could look for other options.

Room Tip: Pick one with bathroom and shower inside the room because almost all have it in the hall.
