4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2011

2 night mid-week stay in a 1 bedroom apartment on 3rd floor mezzanine with my son (15mths old at time)

Service:
Perfectly adequate, as expected.

Room:
Spacious enough with separate bedroom leading onto bathroom.  Lounge room included a sofa, dining table with 4 chairs and a desk with a separate chair.  32" flat screen TV.  Kitchen finished to a high, modern looking standard with Bosch appliances (microwave, full-size fridge and space-saver dishwasher). Full compliment of dishes, cups, glasses, cutlery and utensils.  Kettle, toaster, pots and frying pan.  Very clean throughout.  Certainly clean enough for me not to worry about using anything to prepare my son's food.

Bathroom:
Good size with large walk in shower. Finished to a high standard using Grohe taps. Although perfectly fine and clean, if am completely critical the bathroom edges were starting to show signs of water marks and could possible benefit from a little 'freshen-up'.
Large towel rail, hair dryer and shaving mirror. Shower gel dispenser in the shower cubicle. Large towel rail.
Also in the bathroom were a washing machine and separate tumble dryer. Both appliances were AEG branded.

Location:
1 block back from the River Main. 10mins walk to Hauptbahnhof. 10mins walk to Römerberg. 2mins walk to Willy-Brandt-Platz U-Bahn station. 10mins walk to a supermarket.

Additional:
Small but very useable swimming pool. Small gym. Attached restaurant. WiFi is chargeable, although it is done via a room specific code which you can find on your room TV. This is then charged back to your room. This could be overlooked and considered free WiFi if unaware.
The hotel was able to provide a good quality travel cot on check-in for an additional €10 even though we forgot to pre-book one.

We spent 4 nights here in December, in a two-bedroomed apartment, to visit the Christmas Markets. It's location was perfect for central Frankfurt, access to the main station for trips and general transport links. It was easy to walk around the centre. The hotel was stylish, well-equipped with excellent friendly staff. We hope to return.

Room Tip: All apartments that we caught sight of looked good but to get a good view opt for a higher floor - t...

I visit Frankfurt at least 5 times a year, the last 10 years, and I have stayed to all 5 stars hotels and I can reassure you that this is the BEST!!!!!Not just a room but a big studio with all the amenities-even dish washer. Why should I choose a 15 sq.meters room in a hotel when with less money I can get a 32 sq.m studio by the ECB with excellent service?

Room Tip: higher floor for better view

We arrived expecting a stark business hotel with no character, but were surprised by how comfortable and stylish this hotel was. The rooms was quite large with a lovely sitting area, dining area and bed area. It has a small balcony and windows that one could open to get some fresh air (always a nice perk in a hotel). Although we did not make use of the small kitchenette, it appeared to be very well equipped. If I were planning a longer stay in Frankfurt, I think this would be an excellent choice.

In addition to the spacious room, the hotel also boasts a nice pool, sauna and exercise area. It was a treat to come back to the hotel after a cold evening wandering the Christmas markets of Frankfurt and be able to relax in the sauna which was open until 10:30pm.

Breakfast in the morning was enjoyable with a nice selection of bread rolls, freshly baked croissants, various deli meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, yogurts, etc. This too exceeded our expectations of what a free buffet breakfast would be.

All and all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody planning a trip to Frankfurt.

Have stayed here now three or four times as our German Office is just around the corner.

These apartments are great especially if you are staying a few days and want somewhere you can relax as well as sleep in. The rooms I have stayed in have all been one bed apartments with a lounge, dining and kitchen all in one room, with separate bathroom and bedroom.

Well appointed with full kitchen, washing machine, tumble dryer etc in rooms. You have to buy Wifi but the signal is decent and it isn't a rip off.

Friendly staff, breakfast is ok but nothing special. The bread is possibly the best bit. Used the pool which is an experience as it is aluminium lined and pretty cold.

You are in walking distance to some good restaurants, traditional restaurants and the old town. Once I am there I pretty much walk everywhere as it is so compact and that is a bonus. Hotel is also very close to the river.

It's really nice to stay somewhere where you can sit on the sofa, relax and be away rather than feeling caged in a hotel room, especially if you travel a lot through work.

Room Tip: If you get a high room you have a view of the river, otherwise not so much.

The room was immaculate, small kitchen with all utensils, fridge and even dishwasher. Perfect for having your own breakfast or preparing a lunch snack. Easy parking too for a large car. Not in the "best" area of town, but not a bad one either and within walking distance of Zeil and good shopping. Pool and sauna adequate but not luxurious.
