Beer is very good, there are several types such as dark, weizen, etc. The food is great also, the plates are always overcrowded with meat. You can also buy a souvenirs like beer cups there with Paulaner logos. Very good place!

An original frankfurt restaurant/pub, waitress are dressed as classic german pub waitress, menu is very rich and includes frankfurt specialties, typical german dishes and also an oktoberfest special menu. In line with the prices of the other Frankfurt restaurants the food was definitely delicious and the portions abundant. Excellent quality/quantity ratio at a reasonable price!!

Had dinner here with my family on a weekend evening out. We chose the restaurant based on the reviews here on TA. Compared with other German restaurants we have been to over the course of our 2+ years in Germany, this restaurant was in the middle upper range. The food was good, in ample portions, and the service efficient. Other than that, this could have been nearly any other German restaurant in any other German town which I suppose is good on some levels but in my opinion there wasn't enough great things to justify us going back to the Paulaner.

Pro - the service was very good, efficient and helpful. The food was also ready very quickly. The restaurant is right next to the church so the view is nice and had it been warmer, we would have enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the view and the people walking around. There is also a car park within a minute or so walk which made it easy to park.

Middle - The prices were about average for what we expect in going out to eat in Germany. Our meal of 4 standard menu items (all various schnitzel dishes) and four drinks (1 beer and 3 soft drinks, all .5 liters) came to right at 70 Euro.

Cons - none really. We made reservations via the internet and the inside part of the restaurant was pretty crowded at 7pm when we arrived.

Again, it was pretty good but nothing outstanding or really different than the other German restaurants we have visited.

Located behind the Cathedral on the Domplatz, this restaurant is the ground floor of the Hotel Dom. It is set up to resemble a Bavarian Bier Keller, even to the outfits of some of the waitresses. The place was packed, tourist groups abounded, but the young lady who served our outside table (#307) never missed a beat. From arrival, when I asked for a table for 6½ (a baby chair was brought before we thought to ask for it and before the toddler had arrived) to the final bill, whenever we wanted something, she seemed to appear within seconds. The menu was a mix of Bavarian dishes (plenty of Wursts) with more common dishes. The food was flavoursome and plentiful and their beer (Paulaner is a Bavarian brewery), went down very well. The bill for 5 mains, 4 soft drinks, a schnapps and 8 beers came to €121.40. In our view, excellent value and a great experience.
