Hotel was very nice and and convenient to airport. I booked a room two weeks after my business partner and paid almost a 100 euros more. It was Spring break weekend, so book early if any kind of holiday or special weekend is coming up. Other than the price the hotel was nice.

Travelling with children with loads of luggage, this hotel's convenience and location is unbeatable. It's right on top of the ICE train tracks, which we arrived in and basically on top of the airport. Close to shops, restaurants, check-in desks for LH and quiet and clean rooms. Everything we requested during the booking was spot on. Made our onward journey really easy. In case you do have a bit of time do check the airport mini tour.

A great choice for an overnight, when arriving by train with a flight departure for the following day. We opted for day use to maximise rest before tackling a 23 hour trip home. Very conveniently located with easy access to both rail and air terminals and good value.(hotel offers senior rates.)
A good size room amazingly quiet with excellent sound proofing despite the airport/rail terminal location. We found the restaurant good value with a good menu and wine list. The staff were attentive and helpful. We would stay there again

This hotel is right in the airport and only a couple of floors from the train station that takes you to Frankfurt Main or to whatever location you are travelling to next. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We were only in Frankfurt for one night and thought we might be too far from the city for a short visit, but it was quick and easy to get into the city and enjoy Frankfurt for a few hours.

A 10 minute walk from Terminal 1, all indoors, makes this a convenient layover stop. Nothing special about the place (other than the glass architecture), but a comfortable if small room, decent if not lavish buffet breakfast (free with my Hilton Gold) including egg station and make your own waffles, fast check in and out, and a good night's sleep were a terrific deal at 46 euro plus HHonors points. We even found a luggage cart next to check-out, so that was another 2 euro in our pocket plus an easier walk to the terminal.

Stayed here at the beginning and end of a trip due and had two good experiences. Both times, I had very small rooms (one single and one queen), but the decor and functionality of the space actually made it feel deliberate and cozy rather than stingy. If you're looking for sleep, the beds and bedding are super-comfy and luxurious, the rooms can be completely darkened, it's amazingly quiet, and you can manage the temperature. The fitness center is nice. (The sauna and steam room permit nudity which is off-putting to a woman on her own as i was.) It's a little bit of a walk due to the expansiveness of the whole airport/train station, and it helps to know that you need to get there from the escalator near Lufthansa departures. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They'll hold your bags if you arrive before check-in, and if you want to go into Frankfurt, you can catch the train from the lower level of Terminal 1. (Reception has maps.) One of my rooms had a bathroom that was well-equipped for someone who needed handicapped access while the other had a bathtub. If you have a need/preference, you may want to ask about this when you make your reservation. The breakfast in the restaurant is quite extensive; if you're looking for something light, you'll pass several options on the way from the terminal. If you need to be at the airport but want to take advantage of the city, this is a very nice option.

Stayed here on Easter Saturday night to be close to the airport for an early Sunday departure back to the USA. I booked two rooms on Hilton's website a few weeks in advance and requested connecting/adjoining rooms since our two sons (11 and 13) were with us. Check in was seamless, the clerk provided us with a map of The Squaire, the business/dining/lodging/transit hub in which the Hilton Garden Inn was located. The front desk was also kind enough to remind us that the night we were staying was the beginning of European Summer Time, which occurs a few weeks later than it does in the USA. As a result, we would be losing an hour and potentially be late to our morning flight from Frankfurt, which is notorious for its "thorough" airport security. With the reminder, all was good.

The important thing to understand is that this hotel is connected to the Frankfurt airport and we didn't even need to go outside to get to the hotel after arriving by train from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station in Frankfurt). Just a somewhat long walk from the local/regional airport train station, through Terminal 1, then to the Squaire -- made faster by moving sidewalks.

The hotel is brand new and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are well designed, had tubs/showers, which my wife was glad to see after a week in Paris in a room with only a stand up 3' x 3' shower. Plenty of spots to charge all of our electronics and 3 or 4 English language channels on the TV. After being in some rooms in our European travels that were much smaller and less appointed than a typical Marriott or Hilton in the USA, this hotel was remarkably "USA-like." The staff spoke perfect English and we joked that we felt like we were already home despite having a 9.5 hour return flight the next day. Our room faced the interior "courtyard" of the Squaire, and I don't think we ever even heard an airplane.

The Squaire is a great concept as well, with multiple restaurants (Italian, German, Asian, Starbucks, Steakhouse) and shopping destinations all within a 50-100 meter walk and an escalator ride up or down. We had dinner at "Alex" and it was great, had English menus and kids menu as well. Didn't try the hotel restaurant, so can't review it. On the opposite side of The Squaire (where most of the restaurants are) there is a bookstore and a grocery/convenience store, where you can find snacks, water, beer, etc. at grocery store prices, not airport prices.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the free WiFi in the guest rooms, which was great so the kids (and we) could upload all of their pics to Instagram, Facebook, etc. Our rate was very reasonable--cheaper than a night at a Hilton Garden Inn in our hometown, but not sure if it was due to the weekend stay in an area which probably has quite a few business travelers during the week.

We would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone else entering or leaving Europe via Frankfurt and needing a place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the interior of "The Squaire" are quiet--not sure about rooms on the other si...
