“Comforable hotel, good access to city centre”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

An overnight stay as part of a business trip. Uninspiring but convenient location next to the train station. Circa €25 by taxi from the airport, €4 by train is probably the better form of transfer. Nice rooms, friendly staff, hearty breakfast. A bit of outside noise to be expected in such a central location.

Clean, ok room, but silly annoyances - radiator thermostat broken so always on, and too noisy outside to have window open to let out excess heat. The room safe was locked when I arrived and though I asked at reception twice for it to be unlocked, it never was. Otherwise it is in a good location for the Messe and trains.

Used to be a favourite when in Frankfurt on business due to location, clean and modern rooms, and the comfortable bar which had a limited but very tasty barfood menu.

The hotel seems to have outsourced the bar to a bunch of bored teenagers who have changed the decor, dropped the barfood with only a few items listed. When we asked for food we were told it was too late despite the sign saying otherwise.

We will not be back. Shame because otherwise hotel is good overall.

The plus - nice size room if you reserve the large rooms. Terrific breakfast, nice staff and convenient to station and fairgrounds.
The Minus - Shady area - saw police handcuffing criminals between station and hotel in mid day when arriving and then again in the evening. Not an area for a single woman at all.
Also "free internet" is below dial up speeds. Just a come one for a 10 Euro sell up to fast speed. OK but this should be stated on Bristol Website.
Even with a rear facing room, very noisy setting as people seem to push trash hoppers around all night long.

Room Tip: Normal rooms seem to be tiny - Be sure to upgrade

Great Boutique Hotel, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast choice - although not sure about the Prosecco and Vodka!!. Rooms were adequate in size with comfortable beds and a wet room. Unfortunately no tea making facilities in the room. Friendly and lively bar (note smoking).
Easy to get to from Station if arriving from Airport go to upper level and walk along platform 24 and turn right by station car park then left and first right is the Hotel road. (quicker than going out front entrance of station). Couple of streets opposite station consist of the red light area but no problems,to get into the city best route is to go down Munchener Strasse 15 minutes to Romer.

Room Tip: Higher the better although we were on first floor with no problems

2 night stay at this hotel for frankfurt motor show. its easy to get to from the main transtation, being only a 4-5 minute walk. check in was simple late on a friday night. compared to other european cities, i found this hotel very economical. the room itself was spacious for my needs, and the bathroom was also adequate (shower only). the room unfortunately smelt like many smokers had been there, and there was what looked like a cigarette burn on the floor. the compounding problem is that if you opened your window, other guest could probably see you! the room has a safe, stocked minibar, and TV with a number of channels (english) and in house movies. the room was quiet and bed comfortable. the main criticism of this hotel is the appalling internet. the free in house wifi was horrendously slow if it worked, even in the lobby. the free breakfast was good, with hot foods and the usual cold foods/cereals. the hotel is 10 minutes walk to the Messehall where the Frankfurt motor show was, and in another direction, about 10 minutes walk to the city square. For my purposes i was happy with the hotel and would stay again if by myself.

Hotel had a good location. It was modern and clean. Breakfast and the hotel bar were great. Hotel has a very good atmosphere. Only thing missing were thicker curtains in windows: woke up to the light.
