good transit accommodation. all important places are nearby and the best part is railway station is just next door so all the more comfortable....staff is also very courteous. rooms are spacious...blah blah blah....i can just go about it. in short a good hotel to stay for a day or so as you are close to tourist places....

Stayed here in mid June. Germany hitting top end 30 deg in temp. We had a room facing the main road. Small and stuffy with outdated furniture and fittings. No air conditioning which is a surprise for a "4 star" hotel. With only a small fan to push around humid stale air, nights were never ending with restless sleep. Be sure to byo shampoo, etc or be prepared to use the industrial strength products provided. This place is cheap for a reason!!! So much better out there for just a little extra per night. Think again before settling on this place to stay... On a plus side, breakfast is quite good

I just returned, from my holiday,in Frankfurt,Germany. I was booked at this hotel, for one week. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was a very good. A good selection of breakfast foods, consisting of fruits, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and traditional German foods. Hotel was located about 5 minute walk from the main train station, about a 15 minute walk to the downtown shopping area, about a 10 minute walk to the river area. Note. If you are in the habit of watching television, for a hour or so,all stations are in German. The only station that are in english is 2 news stations. Yoyu may wish to bring along a small dvd player and some of your favourite dvd selections.

Luggage moving is not the great challenge it was, and rolling large suitcases such a short distance from the very large railway station is easily achieved. Hotel front desk staff very helpful, even on our 6 am arrival. Pleasant walk from hotel to river and museum area. Early check in facilitated. Whole place very clean and well looked after.

We stayed at this hotel in Mayfor 5 nights ,it was cool outside and the only heater in the room was a space heater .The room was booked as a double but was more like a single .The maid service was hit and miss with the cleaning of the room ,sometimes we would get clean cups (plastic). The internet service in the lobby was decent. The breakfast(included) was typical ,breads/eggs/meats /cheese,cereals.The location for us was good ,close to the train station .The lady at the front desk appeared to be busy with other things when we would ask for something .

An almost three star hotel masquerading as a four star. Situated very close to the main railway station and withing short walking distance of the 'old town' and modern pedestrian shopping areas. Reception staff were polite and friendly. Restaurant staff exceptionally so. Was pleasantly surprised when having dinner in the restaurant, the chef came out and described the menu for us and our choice was well presented and very good, along with a very nice Sicilian Chardonnay!
Our room at the front of the hotel was well sound insulated and we had two good, undisturbed nights sleep, despite the main road to the station being under our window. The room decor and furniture was slightly dated, but adequate, the wooden cover over the radiator needed fixing, as did the chandelier, which had seen better days. Tea and coffee was available in the room, but unfortunately only paper cups and wooden sticks for stirring were supplied, not up to the standard expected. Fortunately we always carry our own small kettle, teabags etc. so for us this was no big deal.
An over bath shower and bright bathroom completed the room facilities. supplied toiletries were cheap packs, shower gel and hand wash in containers screwed to the wall - again not up to standard for a supposedly four star hotel.
Would I stay here again - no.

It worth 3 stars. Friendly staff. Rooms are not exciting of course, but close to Railway Station. I would recommend it for cost-effective business trips, but for my holidays I would choose something better.
