“Convenient for the train station. That's it.”
Reviewed 11 March 2013

I stayed there for one night, because i had an early train out of Hauptbahnhof the next day. That's the only reason to ever stay there. I had a good rate online for a room in the "classic" wing, whatever that means. It was the smallest room I've seen in a while, and it smelled very strange (not horrible, just weird). The room wasn't particularly convenient or cozy, but clean.

I appreciated most the service at this place: friendly, professional and simply excellent and this from the moment of check in until departure.
Rooms: The room was very spacious and nicely decorated in the modern wing. This earns an excellent. Reason I consider the room as average is the quality of the bed that I experienced very average. Furthermore the bathroom was just updated and finally the very bad isolation. All in all the room was very clean.
Breakfast: very good!
Facilities: The description of the fitness center on hotels website is certainly incorrect:
"Begin with a workout in the state-of-the-art fitness facility". Reality: In total five machines (cross trainer, treadmill, bike) and free weights, that's it with a capacity of max. 7 to 9 people.
All in all a nice place, convenient when taking the train ( 2min) with outstanding service, nice rooms but in some area's room for improvement.

This hotel ticks all the boxes. The check-in is friendly and efficient. Rooms are comfortable, with a desk-sized table (ideal for working). The big plus is that the street in which it is located is very quiet. Location is tremendous - only 3-4 minutes' walk to/from the main station. Restaurant is airy and breakfast was particularly good. The "Casablanca" bar is a pleasant place for a cocktail or a nightcap, occasionally with live jazz. Have stayed here several times, and look forward to the next visit.

I am staying currently 4 Nights a week in the hotel for the last 2 years. i have tried quite a few hotels in frankfurt and this one is to my taste and the staff are excellent. i have never had any reason to complain (which is unusual). the same for the restaurant an absolute fantastic service. The kitchen is excellent and always caters to my taste. Thank you so much for making my stays so enjoyable.

Room Tip: Don't chose the lowest category when booking. Otherwise you will be disappointed.

I booked a superior room at the new modern section and hoping to be upgraded to a better room. The ugrade was in the old section. I understand all suites are at the older buliding but if its not a suite I see very small room areas offered.
However, I refused to have an upgrade to another regular room at the old building and I insisted on having an upgrade in the new section. The front desk manager was kind enough to offer me a very nice room at the 7th floor. The strange thing is that this floor is an SPG floor and I have a Gold membership. This hotel considers an upgarde if you are given a slightly larger room or a room on a high floor of the same category you booked. I think this is unfair let alone the many different categories they use at all Le Meridiens. An upgrade should be well defined.

Room Tip: Ask for the new section. Old section rooms are too small

I had not planned on staying here at all but due to weather my flight was delayed so I ended up being shuttled off to this hotel.

Check-in was very professional and fast, the room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable (not soft but not to hard either) and the best part was that the room was essentially silent (and I could open the window) to me that is important as I love fresh air (find you sleep much better with real fresh air, ok in the middle of Frankfurt but still) .

The restaurant at the hotel is nice and they have a good menu, and the staff was able to pair the wines with the meal, I wish they had a larger selection of wine by the glass but sadly they don't cater to solo travellers, but the meal was very nice.

The breakfast bar was perfect with a nice selection of everything and the hotel staff was very helpful in assisting me where I should go to buy clothes and even in wrapping my duty free so I could check it in and thus not throw it away.

This is my second stay at the Le Meridien Parkhotel Frankfurt. I returned because of its convenient location to the Frankfurt (Main) train station. It literally is a block away from the station, which makes it an ideal launch point to visiting other places in Frankfurt and beyond. To get to/from the Frankfurt airport, it's a quick 15-minute ride on the S-Bahn line. A lot of airline crew stay here, which is not surprising given its location.

The staff is very friendly. The lobby is modern, and clean. There are 3 elevators, and they're pretty fast. The room is on the smallish side, but well appointed and clean. The walls are well soundproof, the blackout curtains worked well, and the internet (wired and wi-fi) is a bit pricey but serviceable.

I have to deduct a point due to a couple of issues with the bathroom. First, they have these folding glass panels that cover only half of the bath tub. So what happens is when you take a shower, the floor is going to get wet. I wouldn't knock off a point just for this, but the bigger issue is with the hot water. It seems every 30 seconds or so (when someone flushes the toilet?) the water gets scalding hot for a split second, then returns to normal temperature. I do not expect to experience this kind of issue at this class of property, so hopefully management can address this soon.
