We checked into this hotel at a very busy time of the day and were given a tiny room, in which there was a king sized bed, and you could not get into bed one side nor open the bathroom door fully on the other, this obviously needs to be looked at. On enquiry the next morning, we were shown a much nicer room, which was larger and much more pleasant. The bathroom was clean and adequate. The mini bar was a nice touch.
We found the reception staff were receptive to our initial problem and were happy to oblige with an alternative room. The breakfast gave many options and was a very busy area. The coffee and tea in the reception area was most welcome after a busy day in Frankfurt itself.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing onto the train station and suggest that you check the room before acceptin...

this hotel is situated just opposite the station(a plus fot late arrivals)
the breakfast buffet is very good(both english and oriental and a good continental choice cheeses and fresh fruit)
the rooms on the street site are good of size but need refurbishment
the tv is not a flatscreen
the only negative point is that prices are going up the last year without improvements
the lifts are slow and not spacious

Room Tip: ask for a streetsite room on a high floor

Frankfurt seems to be the hub for Germany and being just outside the side door of the main train station is well placed. Seems no matter what time you arrive it is ok for check in. Front desk people are helpful. Had a single room that allows smoking. No view but that isn't why I was there. Free mini bar was such a good touch. Would cost peanuts yet left a good impression of helpfulness. If you want 'pretty' you may be disappointed but at midnight was ieal.

Location of this hotel is great, right outside the station

Check in was great, receptionist very friendly and helpful.

The room was very small but functional. Not great for the money but at the time there was a major exhibition in Frankfurt so all hotels had been charging high prices, which is how I ended up here.

No air con in the room but there was a fan, although it was very warm in Frankfurt and the fan didn't make much difference, also made it difficult to sleep.

Generally the facilities were good, free mini bar, free wifi.

Breakfast was ok, not a bad selection but some if the bread was stale.

Worst thing about my stay was that the shower did not work, bad at any time but especially after a warm night.

I have seen other reviews which would indicate I was maybe just unlucky and got a bad room, if it was a good room with Aircon and a shower, this would be a good hotel, I can only review what I got which wasn't worth €60 never mind the €160 that I paid

It is well known reason to chose this hotel ''location''. Easy way to Main Station. This 'plus' location becomes a 'minus' for its noise level due to Trams. During the summer, we will have to open window, door for breeze. But, if you open Door, you cannot sleep due to noise.Though they
provide fan,it is a must for air conditioner.
breakfast is great, price for the room is good, snack in the lobby is much appreciated, reception
people are very nice. I prefer to stay here. My only requirement is Air conditioner in Summer.

We were in Frankfurt during one of their hottest times so suffered a bit in the heat, 36deg. While the hotel was very comfortable, clean and friendly the lack of air con was a big problem when trying to sleep at night. However, the extensive breakfast catered for everyone and after filling up on the good breakfast we forgot about the sleepless night.

This hotel was nice, just not spectacular.
Pros: very clean, nice breakfast, free minibar (with 2 beers, 2 pepsis, sparkling water, flat water, and orange juice-restocked daily), snacks in the lobby, and airconditioning in the room (not in the rest of the hotel- the elevator was slow and HOT!!!!). Staff was pleasant and helpful. It was also literally across the street from the train station.
Cons: Very hot in the rest of the hotel (we were there during a heat wave), bathroom was very small, which was okay, but the configuration was also very awkward. rooms were clean, but a little dull.
There was nothing wrong with this hotel, and there were lots of nice little perks. I would recommend it, as long as you don't expect anything too fancy. Note: room airconditoning was a free-standing unit. Great to have, but it took up a lot of space and was a little noisy (although I actually found the white noise fine for sleeping, and I have sleeping issues!). I saw someone else wrote there was only a fan. Maybe the airconditioning is new or only in certain rooms. Not sure, but ours was definitely not just a fan. It was 38-40 degrees the whole time we were there, and our room was the only cool place in the city!

Room Tip: ask if there's airconditioning if there in the summer. It an get VERY hot!
