The hotel is in a perfect location, close to many restaurants and the Frankfurt train station. The staff were always helpful and spoke good English. The room we stayed in was a really good size. The bed was comfy with nice pillows. Bathroom was more than adequate, with great water pressure. Very happy with our stay.

After planning a few overseas adventures, I've been able to focus on our families "key requirements": 1. must accommodate 5 travelers, which requires "triple" rooms at a fairly competitive rate, 2. must be in a very good location, central and within walking distance to most areas of interest, 3. must have a good, inclusive breakfast to get our family off and running. The Victoria exceeded our expectations in all three areas!

Upon our arrival early Sunday morning, the staff was quick to tell us that they would hold our luggage for us as our rooms were not ready yet. They were even quicker to tell us that we were welcome to have some coffee and breakfast before giving great advice on where to start exploring the city. The staff was a pleasure to converse with during our entire stay and spoke English well thankfully and were always helpful in our needs.

Although our room was a tad small, including the bath, the kids room size was great, which was helpful with three over 18 young adults. Each room had a safe, was clean with a flat screen TV. As other guests commented, it would be nice if there were more than 1 English channel, CNN.

There are 2 computers available for use in the lobby and even though wi-fi was not free, the staff had ample computer lines to hook up in the breakfast area and very helpful. We did purchase 2 hours of wi-fi for 6+ euros as I recall. A relatively small price w/ respect to our entertainment.

Location could not have been better as we rented a car at the train station early one morning to drive to Prague, which was a great adventure in itself. The train station is in sight a couple of blocks away. Great shopping, museums, restaraunts are also easily accessible. On the subject of concern over the "red light" district, it is literally down the street. We walked through on two occasions early evening to get back and never felt uneasy at this time of night.

All in all, a great choice, and we would be happy to hopefully go back some time in the future!!

Room Tip: We had an inside room which was very quiet and good for sleeping!

The hotel (located close to the railway station) was great. It provided clean rooms with a comfortable bed and a quite large bathroom. In general the service was friendly and the breakfast was rich and tasty.

This would have been the third time that we have stayed at the Victoria hotel in three years. What this hotel does well is consistancy. The rooms look as clean and well decorated as they did three years a go. The bathrooms have not got tired and the bathroom tiling still perfect. With three visits in three years i did think i would find that the rooms would start to look tired but well done to the Victoria they don't. The rooms have fantastic heating in them. It has been December when i have stayed there and obviously cold outside, but if you like your room toasty then that is not a problem. Breakfast as good as always and nice to see some stollen available. When i book a hotel for a repeat visit i hope to receive the same level and service that i received on the first visit, the Victoria has repeatedly done that and so that is why i have rated it as excellent.
