Until we stayed in this hotel, I thought that to the MGallery brand belong exceptional hotels, with own, distinguish style. Check the one in Strasburg or in Warsaw.
Unfortunately in this case we are talking about an old Sofitel that apparently was re-branded into lower category.
How old it is, you can easily tell by the furniture in the room (WORN!!!), the tv-set (even Ibis-es have better ones), walls in the staircase (black because of dust!).
Paid internet??? Great disappointment.
Although the room we stayed in was quite cosy, we expected something better from a 4 star hotel.
I think the best part of the room was bathroom.

Breakfast. Overpriced (as many travellers noticed), though with big variety of products. Unfriendly staff was another minus. There were two guys who were more interested in taking food from the buffay and eating in the kitchen than saying hello to the guests.

Reception. No problem during check-in and out. Friendly.
Concierge. Total misunderstanding. While being asked for a piece of advice, he was more interested in a blond in mini skirt who entered the hotel, than in us. Plus comments exchanged with his friend who was sitting at that time in the lobby. And all of that in front of us.
The bottom line is: if you look for something special, don't stay in Savigny.

Hotel was on a very location for a visiting of Messe centrum. The rooms are very clean an tight. The only thing I didn’t like was a heating system-it was to warm! Everything else was very good. Personal was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was ok but I would expect more from famous German "Frustuck".

Not a bad hotel, but nothing exceptional. Good for access to the main station and to the various bank HQs, but otherwise very ordinary. Decent service though.

Stayed there for business one week in oct/nov 2011

Location is good, a 10 minutes walk to the main station, up north the red light area without being in it.
Finance guys, all major banks are within walkable distance. definitely a business trip location...well i dont think anyone comes to Frankfurt for leisure anyway

Hotel itself good, staff provides the information you requires in an efficient manner.Internet is free in the lobby through wifi.

Breakfast is diverse, lots of cut fresh fruits, differents types of breads and pastries, cereals, buffet lacks however of low fat low sugar yoghurt, cottage cheese and definitely of veggies: not a single cucumber there, and the only tomatoes are covered with melted cheese(wrong answer)

Room is tiny but super clean, well ventilated with air conditioned and a window if needed for the room and the bathroom. Internet in the room isnt free (9eur a day), one thing I dont understand how it s still possible that hotels in Europe still dare to charge for internet (and it s mostly mid range hotel like this one). Anyway, if you are well located (I was on the 2nd floor) you should be able to get the free lobby connection from the wifi network, That s what I did:)

So, all in all hotel is a good place to stay especially considering the price of a standard room

Room Tip: - make sure to get a room within the 2 first floors so that you could use the free lobby wifi withou...

This hotel is a good place to stay within walking distance of the centre, about 10 minutes and 5 minutes from the main railway station. Spacious room and bathroom. The only problem with the room is that it was a non-smoking room with a smoky smell.

The hotel is probably reasonable value for money in the context of the Frankfurt market. For me negative points were 1. the curtains in the room when drawn did not meet in the middle 2. EUR 24 for a breakfast buffet is too expensive, especially when there was not a single piece of fruit, either fresh or otherwise, to be seen. And being forced to eat breakfast at a low table and chairs (because all regular tables were occupied) is extremely uncomfortable ! Take them away and place regular dining furniture there !

This hotel is about as close as you can get to the Messe without having to pay the astronomically high premium prices during 'Trade Show' time...just a very high premium! A short 10 minute walk to the Messe and a 15-20 minute walk to the Opera area for great 'High Street' style shopping, restaurants, cafes etc. The hotel has a slightly faded and worn feel but makes up for it with friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and generally adequate facilities. A very good example of a no-nonsense friendly European 4 star hotel.
