Took me an hour from disembarkation at Frankfurt (Flughaven Frankfurt) Airport to check in via a taxi which cost me Euro35. Was a bit concerned reading other traveller comments about the proximity of the Hotel to the red light district but its about a block away and I hardly noticed it. The main attraction of this Hotel is it's proximity to Frankfurt's main train station (Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof). For those travelling to Frankfurt from Asia and suffering jet lag, it's useful having the station to walk to where there is food at 5.30am in the morning.
Check in was efficient and I had booked one of their larger rooms which is good if you're staying for a few days. Wifi was complementary but I think this depended on rates booked. The only inconvenient thing was having to get a new password every 24 hours. Breakfast was nice on the second floor but try to get a seat by the window. The dining room is small and you could end up waiting especially if there's a tour group at the Hotel.
From the Hotel, it's a very pleasant 20 minute walk to the famous shopping strip (Zeil) passing the EU Central Bank with the large Euro sign in front of it. A great photo opportunity. I wouldn't describe the Hotel as 5 star as I think it's a work in progress with some areas of the Hotel still undergoing renovations but you can't beat it for the location and you are surrounded by small restaurants.
