Good room, but no free WI-FI, excellent breakfast, well located, across street from main railway station in middle of city.

The Savoy is a hop, skip and a jump away from the Frankfurt Train Station. The quality was professional and all areas of the establishment were clean. The room rate was reasonable and the rooms, although quaint, were quite nice. Probably the best breakfast I had during my 2 week stay throughout Germany, definitely worth it.

Another example how you can´t trust the hotel star rating. This hotel and 4 star? This has to be joke!!
Room? ...like good 2* property, far from 4* standard.Best that I got my room next to the lift which is noisy.
Staff OK but no warm welcome at all (no how are you, how was your trip, welcome...do I expect too much?) Interenet on hotel vouchers is not working, pay TV (I have considered to be interested and pay) is available only at certain hours!!! Ha ha...

Definately for the price I paid not worther...won´t come back.

The staff were really helpful and they all spoke very good english, the standard single room is a bit small but very clean, the hotel is very central and a stone throw away from the main station....

the hotel has a gym on the top floor (great views).... there is a indoor pool and some gyming equipment... i would recommend that they buy some other equipment as there is only 4 pieces of equipment... looks a bit bare for being a gym...

After having read some of the reviews I was very skeptical but I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-day stay at the Savoy Frankfurt and have booked another 3 day stay for later in the year.

I am still raving about the pool and sauna area. The sauna had a window which overlooked the skyline and the sauna/steamroom were really nice as was the pool. The changing rooms needed some work on them but the views over Frankfurt were stunning.

Every afternoon they offer free cake in reception which is a nice touch. There is a water dispenser too and the staff seemed nice.

The rooms are fine. The basic rooms are more like 3 star but I found it quiet there and everything to be ok.

I wasn't so happy about having to pay 12.50 for Wireless lan for 24 hours and I didn't pay for the breakfast buffet.

The location is excellent and not noisy and I felt safe there.

Really great place to be and the price was quite good. When I booked 2 months in advance I saved almost 50% too and am only paying just over 40 Euros a night for my next trip!

I can recommend the Savoy for anyone looking for a clean, friendly 4 Star (German Rating) hotel close to the central station. The hotel rooms are very small but well designed and should be fine for a brief stay. Anything longer spend a few Euros on getting a double room. The location is excellent within a stone throw of the train station but rooms to the front will be fairly noisy. I had a room to the side and the street noise did not impeed on my sleep as long as I kept the windows closed. The Hotel is also close to the Main River and gives you easy access to some great jogging routes along the river. The hotel also offers a rooftop enclosed pool which looked like it was in good shape. The so called gym is a joke though and a mix between a torture chamber and a graveyard for Soviet era "gym" equipment. Not so great, I chose to go for a great run instead. A nice touch was the complimentary cakes, apples and water station in the lobby as well a free lottery ticket every guest receives for each night of the stay (The author did not win though). Lastly, the breakfast buffet was very well appointed and rounded off the entire experience. Overall, I'd stay there again when in need for a decent and affordable business hotel.

The rates for internet connection were a bit high, however the rooms were quite decent and the location very good. It is very near to the main train station in a quiet side road. There is a lot of eateries for any type of food.
